Asami released from the kiss "darling, we have guests"
Korra looked over to the other couch seeing someone who looked like they seen a ghost. Korra never seen this woman around the company.
"Sweetheart this is Millie, she has twins who are friends with Yasuko from school" She to Millie "and this is Korra, my fiancée" she gestured to the other woman
Before they could exchange words three kids came running in.
"Korra!" Yasuko ran towards Korra
"Hey princess" Korra caught the girl in her arms then noticed a set of twins joining Millie on the cough
"This is Max and Iris, my kids" Millie said
"Well, uh, it was nice meeting you all, but I have to make some... phone calls" Korra said and excused herself
Millie watched as Korra left "you got quite the looker" She told Asami "you both make a stunning couple"
"Thank you" Asami smiled at the comment

After a while, Millie and the twins left and planned for the next play date. at the same time Mako showed up.
"Hi dad!"
"Hey sweetie" Mako smiled "you ready to go out with your dad?" He said happily
"What are we gonna do?"
"We can get something to eat then go get ice cream" he said
"OK!!" Yasuko ran to put on her shoes and left hugging her mom bye and followed Mako out the door "can we go to the park too?!"
"Sure kid" He smiled
Asami closed the door then looked at Korra. Korra could sense something was wrong, and not in a 'hey what's going on' way but a 'should I run?' way.
"George, please notify the rest of the staff to take the rest of the day" Asami said
The couple stood by the door staring at each other as the staff left through the door. Once everyone was out Korra spoke
"So, babe, how was your day?" Korra chuckled nervously
"You left without saying anything, or texting me, what if something happened" Asami crossed her arms "and I get that's how things were done before, but now it's different"
"Ok ok you're right" Korra sighed
"Anyways, I got paper work to look at" Asami walked away
"What? Come on, take a day, let's go out and have some fun" Korra said "what do you say?"
"I say...no"
"Asami" Korra whined
"Korra, you can go out all you want, but I have shit to do, and if I don't get any of the paperwork out the way, I for real won't have any days to myself" Asami placed a kiss on Korra's forehead and disappeared upstairs to her home office.
