Just blame the cat

Earth was sitting in the livestream for one of his many advertising contracts with a Cosmetics line.
Of course, he presented which of the jars and pots he had already used, commented on how good it smelled and what an exorbitant effect it had on his skin, which was of course now twice as soft as before.

He had been told to exaggerate everything a little, because the fans wanted to see him euphoric and that was the only way it would sell.

He certainly did as he was told, it was his job after all, even if some of the products didn't quite excite him, none of them were actually bad.
However, he simply didn't care about most of this cosmetic stuff.

As always, the presenter asked him this and that on this day, of course mainly about his partner Mix, who had been at Earth's house a lot recently and thrilled the fans because he happened to be in the background or came cheekily into the picture.

Everyone finally wanted to hear that they were a couple, as their interaction was so sweet and resembled that of an old married couple still deeply in love.
However, Earth and Mix were actually just extremely good friends. They had known each other for 8 years.

For a short time they had lost sight of each other, or seen each other much less often, due to Mix's studies in veterinary medicine and Earth's career start at Gmmtv, but a mutual old university friend had always kept them together.

Then they were looking for a second leading role for "A Tale of 1000 Stars". There were several candidates in the final round, but Earth didn't want any of them as his partner. He remembered Mix, who had often appeared on stage at university, and persuaded the director to give him a chance. Mix was under contract in no time at all.

It turned out to be the philosopher's stone, because their chemistry during filming was incredible.
A year after the show aired, they even won the award for Best Series and Best Lead Actor Couple. After that, it was raining advertising contracts, promotional tours, series offers and there was even a huge fan meeting. Mix and Earth grew closer and closer together during this time.

Earth lovingly looked after his younger partner and best friend.
He liked to buy him things and was always there to help and advise him. Their warm relationship with each other was very honest because they really liked each other and their physicality with each other was normal for them.

They liked holding hands, hugging each other, laughing a lot and fooling around. Earth in particular liked to tease Mix, he often reprimanded him, almost like a big brother, but then loved to spoil him with something to make up for annoying him.

Mix loved to sulk and Earth couldn't resist the look on his face, he HAD to do something for Mix to make up for it.

They also stood in front of each other like shields. They defended each other verbally when some interviewers asked overly intrusive questions, and cared deeply when the other wasn't feeling well.

Earth had even set up a room for Mix to spend the night in his new house because it sometimes made working together easier.
Besides, they both had their cats, and when one was busy, the other could take care of everything.

On the whole, their relationship was a perfect symbiosis in which they were good for each others heart and soul and could rely on each other.

The more time passed, the closer their physicality became, as if by magic. Mix in particular liked to bite Earth's ear to tease him or pinch his butt, which he usually got back in kind at a later, unexpected opportunity.

The fans loved this ship. Everyone was sure to read the news every day that the two were a couple, but nothing of the sort happened.
They were just as they were and enjoyed their closeness and how well they got on.
