Natalie panted as she climbed up the snowy mountain. She slipped, catching herself before she could fully topple over and gently steadies herself to sit on her knees. All while holding the emergency transmitter from the plane, and radio in her arms. 

Her breath puffed out in tiny clouds above her head as she took a short break, not by choice, but by the way her legs shook she knew she needed to stop. Natalie thought that she felt so chilled that she couldn't possibly be warm enough inside for her breath to turn cold once it hit the cold air. 'I must have some life left in me after all.' she thought. She shook her head, trying to rid herself of the intrusive thoughts slowing her down. She took a couple more deep breaths before pushing on.

"You have to get as high as you possibly can. The higher you are, the more frequencies the radio will be able to tap into." Misty's words echo in Natalie's mind as she reached the top of the mountain she had picked out. "Please work, please be high enough." the girl whispered to herself as she fell to her knees, setting the radio down that they had gotten off of wilderness guide, Kodiak. Am image flashed before Natalie's eyes.

Hannah stabbing him in the eye with a folding knife, before pushing him onto his back.

Natalie hit the side of her head with the palm of her hand to get rid of the image. The Wilderness, it had started to effect Hannah much faster than it had effected any of the girls on the soccer team. Hannah was already acting so irrationally. The Wilderness knew that Hannah would be able to help them actually get away. The Wilderness wanted to get rid of her and the other grownups quickly.

Natalie quickly put the piece from the radio into the broken emergency transmitter Misty had given her. She sat back, shaking (but not from the cold) as she watched a light flicker on. "Come on." Natalie said, her voice quivering as as the light flickers red, and slowly starts glowing yellow to green.

After Kodiak takes his last breath, Hannah turns to the girls. Her eyes are black, and her voice isn't her own as she says, "You girls will never leave me." Before Hannah slices her own throat.

That voice, most of the girls had recognized it from the seance the girls had held in the cabin so long ago, when Lottie had started speaking french and Laura Lee had thrown a bible at her. "Fuck it." Natalie says, ignoring the memories of what had happened as she picked up the phone on the emergency transmitter phone. The Wilderness is trying to keep them, but Natalie would do everything she could to fight against it. She heard static hissing while the phone was held to her ear.

"Please help...help us. Please, God. Uh....Send fucking help. We're out here! We need some fucking help! Are you there? Someone please help. Please. CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"

"No one can hear you. You are mine!"

Natalie gasped as she heard the same voice again. "N-no. We're leaving." She said with determination, before calling for help through the phone again.

"Please. Just fucking s-send help. Please."

Natalie called and called, she kept repeating the words over and over and over. Till the tear tracks froze on her cheeks. Her voice was so rough that she could barely hear herself. Her whole body had been shaking before, but no longer was. She more saw her body give in and fall onto it's side then felt it actually happen.

"You did the best you could." Natalie blinked, and saw Jackie laying in front of her. Body blue and covered in snow, like the morning they had found her outside. Her eyes dead and white, but looking right at her. "I-I'm so sorry. I tried to help Shauna. I tried to save her from The Wilderness." Jackie nodded. "We know, we all know." Natalie couldn't move, but she saw everyone that they had lost. Mari, Javi, Crystal, Ben, Laura Lee, the hikers and guide.  "I'm so proud of you." Ben said, patting the girl on her shoulder, tears in his eyes. "Why?" Natalie asked.
