Once I realized the time, I suddenly yawned. I sat stared at the moon, tired. Before I knew it, Daniel had his hand calmly around mine. I look at him, surprised.
"I like you." He said. I didn't know which way to take it, as a friend or the other way?
"I like you too." He smiled and leaned in fast to kiss me. I tensed up, surprised. Then he pulled away, his face red with embarrassment. I blushed,
"I am so sorry, Jessie." He cried. I smiled,
"No, Daniel, it's okay." I sat beside him, our fingers intertwined. He grinned and I rested my head on his shoulder. Butterflies flew around in my stomach and felt myself falling for him.
"We should hang out sometime?" He suggested. I nodded,
"Sure, where?"
"We could go to the art museum and out to dinner?" I liked the idea and it was him. I nodded and smiled before checking the time again.
"Oh, I better go!" I darted up.
"Me too." He put everything in his backpack. We headed out of the field and kept walking together until we had to separate. He took his street and I went down mine. I grinned and snuck to my bedroom, getting in bed and falling asleep.
