"Did mom or father ever give me a scarf...?" Najimi clicked their tongue in contemplation, pulling open a drawer so lodged in the desk from non-use that it used nearly all of their strength. Which, to no avail, didn't have a scarf in it.
Bustling around the room, they eventually circled back to the desk, and kicked aside the feet of the office chair, revealing the pile of clutter underneath it in the space where one's legs were supposed to go. Mostly random wrappers and plastic bottles, but also when stuff fell of the surface of the desk and Najimi was to lazy to pick up, especially when it was just junk anyway.
Spotting a flash of green and yellow out of the corner of their eye, they reached forward and pulled aside a small cardboard box- which was scrunched to quite an extent, and yanked out a diamond/triangle patterned scarf.
"Well, that was convenient," Najimi put both hands on their hips, pausing a moment with their scarf still clutched between their fingers. As they turned to head out, their feet almost imminently caught on the wire of the lamp plugged into the wall, knocked off a box of tissues on the shelf, and then they bonked their head on the wall.
Najimi didn't have high hopes for the rest of the day, to say the least.

"Good morning Komi!" Slowing to a stop in the cubby room, Najimi noticed that Komi was preoccupied with unwinding her scarf around her neck and seized the chance to touch one of their chilled palms to her neck.
"Nnnh??!" Komi made some kind of startled noise and watched Najimi, baffled, as they breezed out of the room and disappeared down the hall.
"It's winter!" Najimi said cheerfully and posed quite strangely, their arms forming a circle above their head and knees bent. Tadano gave them a weird look- but by now, he had grown so used to Najimi's antics that he didn't comment on their poor imitation of a snowman.
"But I thought you hated winter." Tadano replied. Komi just stared at Najimi in response. Najimi carefully avoided her gaze; Najimi wasn't really sure what to make of Komi. She was pretty as a painting whenever she did anything, popular, but she also didn't have to work much for it. She wasn't the one who forced herself to actually, well, try, and Najimi certainly didn't get the luxury of Tadano's concern or admiration. It was also just unnerving, to be completely honest. Najimi had been put in bed for a week in shock when Komi turned down their invitation to play all the way back in elementry... not because they were unable to make friends, but from the fear they wouldn't be efficient at fooling anyone with a sociable personality anymore. Which possinly lead to everyone finally realizing how much of a brat they were, and- ...Najimi realized Tadano had spoken to them.
The fact that he actually remembered something that small about Najimi, simple as an opinion on the weather, shouldn't have surprised them, and it definitely shouldn't have made them feel something bordering pride and happiness. And they certainly didn't want to think about it... it sounded like one of those extremely down-bad pervert/nerds throughout Japan. A slightly attractive girl could wave at them, and they'd throw themself at her feet. "I hate the cold!" 'Cold makes me feel unsafe and isolated.' "But there are many great things about winter! Christmas! New Years! Electric blankets! The Hakone relay race! And final exams. Exams... you just had to mention that..." Najimi muttered saltily, paying little attention to the seated Tadano and Komi awkwardly staring at him, remaining silent as they continued to ramble to themself.
Truthfully, Osana didn't detest studying that much. But it added much more to their already long list of tasks.. not that they had any room to complain. They dragged themself into their current situation, nearly always agreeing to talk, or meet up with someone, along with using all their energy on being hyper and enthusiastic every day.
