LOADING CHAPTER [SYSTEM ERROR]

In any other circumstance, Sophia would've thought that was hot and would've said something about it, but now, she only thought it was hot, abstaining from saying anything else at all. Walking back out from the cage, Sophia grabs Bucky's hand and starts leading him away. Once out of the room, Ravi clears the paths for her and starts telling her where to go.

As they run, Bucky wonders what is going on, how this is happening, and as Sophia runs a step ahead of him, he starts to slow down, his head finally knowing what this means.

-Doll.- He calls but Sophia keeps going. -Doll, wait.- He calls and Sophia stops, turning to look at him.

-Bucky come on, we have to go, we don't have much time before everyone notices, let's–

-Soph, stop.- Bucky asks her softly and he stands in front of her. -What are you doing?.- He asks and she shakes her head.

-I told you I was getting out of there, out of here and this is our time, we can leave, finally, we can leave. Go away to someplace where they won't find us. Pierre is going to help.- Bucky shakes his head slightly and Sophia nods as she holds his face with her two hands. -Yes, yes, we can go and live in the field, on a farm, away from everyone. We'd use masks in public, like the ones I used in Romania so no one knows who we are. We'd have new identities and when we are home, it'll be just us, just you and me, no one else. We could stop running.- Sophia says and Bucky takes a deep breath.

He knows what is going on and he wishes for a second that they didn't have come to this in the first place. He knows that if he had pushed Sophia harder to leave the first time back in October and if he had hurt her, she wouldn't be here today, risking her life and reputation to help him be free, but he also knows that he probably wouldn't have held on that long in life to even be here in the first place. He knows that there is a reason why things happened the way they did, why he came back to her all those times and why she stayed after everything. He knows their story is not over, far from it, but he is not sure he can let her become a fugitive and hide her whole life, he can't let her leave everything she's known her whole life in an instant just for him, because that's too selfish, he doesn't want her to leave it all just for him, because he thinks still that he is not worthy.

But he is, more than anyone, for her he is.

But he can't let her do this.

-Soph, doll, you can't do this, not for me, I'm not going to ask you to be a fugitive with me and hide and lose everything you have, just for me, just to prove I'm innocent.- Bucky says and Sophia shakes her head.

-Bucky listen to me, I don't care about those things, I don't care about what happens or what I lose, I told you, I'm with you, always, and not just now, but ever since that first time I saw you, I knew. And I'm sure you knew too.- Sophia says, both of them knowing perfectly what she is talking about, but still Bucky hesitates.

-The time of my trial will come, if we prove them I'm innocent, they will let me free, then we can–

-That's the thing, Bucky! There is not going to be a fair trial, because they need someone responsible for what happened and to the eyes of the world that is you, if they say on the news they caught you, then they can't give you a fair trial because they won't risk to give one to a "terrorist" as they said you are. The world would come for them. And if they do, they'd throw you into a rehab center and you'd be a prisoner again and you can't, because you deserve to be free, from everything and everyone.- Sophia replies, her tone is firm, strong, determined and Bucky knows she is right.

He knows she is right because they won't give him a fair trial and if they "free" him, he would never be free, even if he is innocent, there will be that tag on him that he is and was a criminal, he would never be free if that happens, he knows it.
