"No don't leave me, baby, stay here. Stay in bed with me, C," Jesse whines like a child being dragged away from his mother, his arms snaking around my waist and dragging me across our bed – pulling me back into his chest. "Stay...just stay..."

"I can't," I laugh, wiggling to try my hardest to turn around in his intense grip so I can face him, so he can read the seriousness on my face, "I have my table reading with Harry today. We both know Art will kill me if I'm late."

"Art is your best friend," he rolls his eyes, tilting his head down to nudge his nose against mine, kissing my jawline in a procession until he reaches my ear, whispering, "he won't mind."

"But what if Harry minds!" I shout out in humour filled giggles, his kisses starting to tickle, "I can't make a bad first impression! And the studio! It's my first movie with Monument!"

"Fuck 'em all," he says, his warm hands sliding up the back of my pyjama shirt, still kissing my jaw, and now neck, "I'll write you a movie. You can be the lead. The only lead. You won't have to share the screen with anyone. Especially not whoever this Harry guy is."

"You're just jealous I'm filming a romance," I sigh into our bedroom, shaking my head as I manage to find the strength to lift his head out of my neck and look into his eyes, "it's all fake, baby," I begin to laugh at his deadpan expression, "Suki is falling in love with Henry. Celia is all yours."

I peck his lips to rid his pathetic little pout of dismay, not having yet brushed my teeth, so he won't be getting anything else from me.

"Besides," I lift my left hand out from under the duvet cover, "this rock is too heavy for me to be physically able to leave. Weighs me right down," I joke, happy he's beginning to smile again, "hard to walk some days."

"Damn fuckin' right," he nods, glancing down to my engagement ring that's not even a month old, "mmm'kay. Can't say I'm thrilled but, go on, go kiss another man."

"Jesse...I'm an actress." I laugh, pushing his shoulder but finally being able to get out of bed. I hope I'm not running late now.

"Don't I know it." He says with a small smile before falling back in bed and covering his face with his hands as I walk into our ridiculously large marble en-suite that has way too much storage I've yet to find shit to stuff it with.

Aware I need to hurry up so I'm not late, I take my toothbrush into the shower with me, multitasking as I have a quick body shower. Within the two minutes it takes me to brush my teeth, the suds of my vanilla and shea butter body wash swirls down the drain in a soapy decline, and I'm wrapping a fluffy white towel around myself. I speed through my morning skincare routine, but take time to massage my cheeks and jawline, my aesthetician promising me this really does make a difference to my appearance.
