Sirilak "Lingling" Kwong is the shining star of her elite high school. With her impeccable grades, athletic prowess, and poised leadership as student council vice president, she seems to have the perfect life. Known for her serious demeanor and introverted nature, Lingling often finds solace in her own company, hiding behind her achievements. She wears the façade of a perfect student while grappling with feelings of isolation, yearning for deeper connections she struggles to form.

In stark contrast, Kornaphat "Orm" Sethratanapong is a free-spirited, optimistic artist whose outgoing personality could light up any room. Despite her talent, she feels perpetually in the shadows, especially when it comes to pursuing her passion for acting. Always the understudy, Orm is filled with self-doubt, believing that she's not good enough for the spotlight. However, her infectious energy and friendly demeanor win her a diverse circle of friends, although she often finds them misunderstanding her intentions, especially regarding her feelings.

The story begins when Lingling and Orm are paired together for a school project celebrating the school's annual arts festival. Initially, Lingling is annoyed by Orm's bubbly personality and tendency to be overly friendly. However, as they spend time together, Lingling discovers that Orm's optimism and passion for life slowly break through her introverted shell.

As their project takes shape, Orm encourages Lingling to express her true feelings, igniting a spark of sincerity that Lingling has kept hidden. Meanwhile, Lingling helps Orm confront her insecurities about her talents, pushing her to audition for the lead role in the upcoming school play – a chance for Orm to step out of the shadows and shine.

As their relationship deepens, they share intimate moments exploring Bangkok – from charming street markets selling local delicacies to late-night visits to serene temples. Their friendship blossoms into something more profound, but facing societal expectations and their own fears becomes a significant challenge. Lingling struggles with the pressures of maintaining her reputation and family expectations, while Orm wrestles with her self-worth.

As the arts festival approaches, Lingling must decide whether to step out from behind her preconceived image of perfection. She aspires to support Orm in her audition, perhaps to reveal her own desires to open up to love and vulnerability. In a climactic twist, Lingling's journey culminates during the festival, where Orm takes center stage, and Lingling confronts her feelings before the whole school.
