"Damn you, wretched girl!"

The Montgomery manor was now engulfed in Alaric's rage. Screaming voices echoed through the hollow halls as he was infuriated by disappointment and shame.

"Gryffindor? I told you it's unacceptable for a member of my family to be in any house other than Slytherin!"

Curses swung left and right from his wand as he processed the shame his daughter had brought upon the family.

Lucille, trembling in fear, continued to wail at the sight of her fainted mother, covered in marks and scars. She begged for her father's forgiveness, stating that she would do her best to rectify the situation.

"You foolish girl! Nothing can be done- the die is cast! What you've done has shamed this family forever!"

"Please, Father," Lucille pleaded, holding tightly to her scar and her mother.

"I told you, disobeying me has consequences."

Grim evident in Alaric's voice as he pointed his wand towards his daughter.

"FATHER NO!"

"Dear, you're having a nightmare again," Madam Pomfrey reminded the poor girl as she helped her calm down.

Clearly in a state of shock, Lucille was catching her breath, blurring the sight of the memory in her head. Repeating the same phrase over and over again.

"You're safe now," the matron reassured her as she searched for a sleeping potion to comfort the distressed student.

Finally at ease after consuming the brewed drink, Lucille caught a glimpse of the night. It was a full moon, the sky was dark and breathtaking. Yet all she could think about is whether Auggie is seeing the same sight as her.

Lucille spent most of her time with a book on her nose in the school library, the pressure of passing her O.W.L.s weighing heavily on her shoulders. She groaned and slammed her face onto another book.

"You know you wouldn't understand a thing if you keep doing that, right?" Hermione asked, eyeing her friend as she repeatedly banged her head against her readings.
