1600s. Whispers of discontent threaded through the fabric of rural England, where shadows danced beneath the ancient oaks and the morning mist clung to the earth like a shroud. Hidden from the watchful eyes of the world, as they thrived under the cover of night. A silver tongued man could weave the most beguiling of tales, believed with unyielding conviction that reality extended far beyond what the uninitiated could perceive. He had a singular obsession: The Seal, a barrier that imprisoned an entity unknown, an unfathomable power that he insisted was rightfully theirs to command.
The plan was an unfortunate success. They had been observing a family of humble means, their days etched in toil and shadows. Among them was a young girl, bright-eyed and innocent. In her father's ramshackle cottage, amidst the scent of loamy earth and woodsmoke, she had spoken dreams untold, dreams that resonated with a frequency that burrowed into the leader's mind.
