"...I don't know how to keep chasing you," Seulgi admitted, voice breaking just a little. "I don't know how to stay if you won't let me."

Jaeyi's fingers curled against Seulgi's wrist, trembling.

And this time, she was the one searching.

Seulgi closed her eyes.

If Jaeyi kissed her again, she would melt.

If Jaeyi let go, she would break.

And in that quiet, fragile space between them—

Jaeyi finally answered.

Jaeyi's fingers curled tighter around Seulgi's wrist. A shuddering breath escaped her, something raw, something desperate—

And then, she kissed her again.

This time, there was no hesitation.

No careful, searching press of lips like before.

No room for doubt.

Jaeyi took the kiss—deep, consuming, like she had been starving for it. Like she had been holding back for far too long, and now that Seulgi had cracked her open, there was no stopping it.

Seulgi gasped against her mouth, fingers digging into Jaeyi's shirt, but Jaeyi didn't let her pull away.

Didn't let her breathe.

She pressed Seulgi back until the desk dug into the small of her back, her body caging her in completely.

Jaeyi tilted Seulgi's chin up and kissed her deeply, their tongues intertwining as Seulgi let out a shaky breath.

Seulgi whimpered.

Jaeyi groaned low in her throat.

She had never let herself have this. Never let herself lose control. But Seulgi was warm, soft, intoxicating beneath her hands, and now that she was here—

God, she couldn't stop.

Her hands slid up, fingers brushing over Seulgi's jaw, tilting her head just right as she deepened the kiss.

Seulgi trembled, knees going weak, but Jaeyi held her up—pressing closer, body molding against hers.

Seulgi could barely breathe, barely think.

She had kissed Jaeyi before.

But not like this.

Not like Jaeyi was about to ruin her.

Seulgi's grip tightened, hands fisting into Jaeyi's shirt, nails dragging against the fabric.

And then, just as Jaeyi started to pull back—

Seulgi bit her.

Jaeyi let out a sharp breath, her lips parting as Seulgi's teeth grazed over her lower lip—a small, teasing bite, but enough to make Jaeyi shudder.

Enough to make her feel it.

Seulgi pulled back, her tongue flicking over the spot she'd just bitten, her breaths uneven.

Jaeyi stared at her, stunned for a second—then her eyes darkened.

Seulgi didn't look away.

Her lips curled slightly, a challenge in her gaze.

"You keep running," she murmured, breathless. "But you always come back to me."

Jaeyi's pulse pounded in her ears.

And then, with no hesitation—

She crashed their lips together again, pulling Seulgi against her like she would never let go.

Jaeyi inhaled sharply, the sting of Seulgi's teeth still tingling on her lip. She wasn't expecting that.

Her grip on Seulgi's waist tightened, like she needed to steady herself. Like she needed to stop herself from devouring the girl in front of her.

For a second, she just stared—eyes dark, impossible to decipher, lips slightly parted as if she was trying to form words but couldn't.

Then, low. Almost a whisper.

"And yet, you're the one holding on."

She let the words settle between them, watching the way Seulgi's breath hitched—how her fingers twitched against Jaeyi's chest.

It was true, wasn't it?

Seulgi could tell Jaeyi to stop running, could challenge her all she wanted—but her hands were still curled into Jaeyi's shirt, refusing to let go.

Jaeyi leaned in, just enough for her lips to ghost over Seulgi's again, teasing, testing—waiting to see if Seulgi would pull her back.

"So tell me, Seulgi..." Her voice was quieter this time, almost dangerous.

"Do you really want me to stop?"
