"Here I Am Again."
Lines of code streamed across the screen before my eyes. As my fingers danced over the keyboard, that familiar voice inside me whispered, questioning: "Why are you doing this, Lara? Do you still think there's a way out?"
No, this wasn't a game. This was the only way to survive. I learned that when I was twelve years old. Ever since the day I first felt fear, helplessness, I had been hiding behind the screen. But tonight was different. Tonight, I was on the edge.
My fingers froze over the keyboard for a brief moment. Red warning texts flashed across the screen: "Security system activated. Breach detected."
My heart pounded. If I didn't get out of here, everything would be over.
