Chapter 26: Finally, Some Rest... or Not
______
The second Class 1-A stepped into camp, half of them collapsed.
Kaminari sprawled on the ground, arms out like a starfish. "I am one hundred percent dead."
"I feel dead," Sero groaned, lying face-up in the dirt.
"Same," Uraraka sighed, rubbing her sore arms.
Iida, somehow still standing, adjusted his glasses. "We should remain composed! There is still much to do before—"
Before he could finish, Aizawa clapped his hands once.
"All of you," he said flatly, "get inside and clean up. Dinner is in one hour."
Everyone perked up.
"Dinner?" Mina **bolted upright. "We get food?"
Mandalay smiled. "Of course! You all worked hard."
"Best news I've heard all day," Kirishima sighed, cracking his neck.
"Race you to the bathhouse!" Mina yelled, already sprinting off with Uraraka and Jirou in tow.
The boys quickly followed, tripping over themselves to get to the baths first.
Zasmyn sighed, stretching out her arms. Her muscles were already sore. And that was just the warm-up?
She felt a nudge at her arm.
Bakugou, standing beside her, jerked his chin toward the cabins. "C'mon, dumbass."
She smirked. "You're in a surprisingly good mood."
He grunted. "Tch. That fight wasn't totally boring."
Which, coming from Bakugou, was basically high praise.
Zasmyn laughed and followed him inside.

'Bathhouse Chaos'
By the time she got to the girls' hot springs, Mina was already in full spa mode.
"This steam is everything," she sighed, sinking into the water.
Uraraka let out a relieved hum. "I don't think I've ever been this sore in my life."
Jirou groaned, rubbing her shoulders. "And this is just the beginning."
Asui, completely unbothered, floated lazily on her back. "Ribbit. At least we survived."
Zasmyn sank into the hot water, feeling her muscles instantly relax. "Honestly? This might be the best part of training camp."
Mina grinned. "Nah, the best part is getting to watch Bakugou freak out over you sleeping on him."
Zasmyn froze. "What?"
Uraraka snickered. "Oh yeah. Everyone saw."
Jirou smirked. "Pretty sure Kaminari tried to take a picture, but Bakugou woke up and nearly murdered him."
Zasmyn groaned, covering her face. "Great. So I'll never hear the end of this."
Mina winked. "Nope! But at least we all know Bakugou has a soft spot for you."
"He does not!"
"Sure, sure," Jirou teased.
Zasmyn sighed. This was gonna be a long trip.

'Meanwhile, in the Boys' hot springs...'
Kirishima: "Dude, you let her sleep on you."
Bakugou: "Shut up, shitty hair!"
Kaminari: "Bro, just admit it. You like her."
Bakugou: (explosions intensify)

'Dinner Time'
By the time everyone got dressed and made it to the dining area, the smell of food was already in the air.
Kirishima practically drooled. "I think I'm in love."
"Same," Kaminari sighed dramatically.
The Pussycats had set up a massive outdoor dining area with steaming pots of curry, fresh rice, and plates stacked high with grilled meat.
Mandalay beamed. "Eat up! You'll need the energy for tomorrow."
That should've been a warning.
But right now? Nobody cared.
"LET'S GO!" Mina cheered, grabbing a plate.
Within seconds, everyone swarmed the tables, piling their dishes.
Zasmyn sat beside Bakugou, shaking her head as he aggressively shoveled food into his mouth.
"You're gonna choke," she muttered.
He glared. "I'm fine."
She sighed. "Alright. But if you chock, I'm not saving you."
Bakugou just grunted, still eating like he was at war with his food.
Zasmyn took a bite of her curry, sighing in relief. Finally. Something good today.
Across from them, Kaminari leaned over to Kirishima and smirked.
"Bet Bakugou makes her feed him next."
Bakugou threw a spoon at him.

As the night stretched on, the students laughed, talked, and ate together, the stress of the day melting away.
But in the back of their minds, one thought lingered:
Tomorrow, the real training begins.
And none of them were ready.
