Hey guys so this is an original story by me with all original characters. I did take some inspiration from Gravity Falls because I adore that show. So have fun reading this!!

This story is set in 1986 too.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

Annie O'Connell

Appearance: Long and wavy red hair, green eyes, fair skin with freckles. Wears flowy skirts, oversized sweaters, and hand-painted canvas shoes. Always carries a sketchbook, her walkman and a small tin of homemade cookies.

Personality: A mix of old-soul wisdom and childlike wonder, Annie is both deeply introspective and wildly adventurous. She can spend hours lost in a book or baking, but she's also the first to suggest climbing a tree to see what's on the other side. She values solitude but loves her friends fiercely.

Interests: Painting, baking, reading about folklore, making flower crowns, and collecting old postcards and random trinkets she grows attached to.

Elyssa Carter

Appearance: Short brown hair, hazel eyes, tanned skin. Dresses in cargo pants, flannels, and old hiking boots. Always has a pocket knife, snacks for stray dogs, and a random trinket she found on the ground.

Personality: The comedian of the group, Elyssa has a laid-back, witty charm that makes everyone feel at ease. She's the most rational thinker but also loves a good thrill. She has an uncanny way of reading people and always knows when something is off.

Interests: Exploring, camping, making dumb jokes, rescuing stray dogs, and collecting weirdly-shaped rocks.

Katie Anderson

Appearance: Messy brown hair, blue-grey eyes, pale skin. Dresses in flowing black skirts, lace-up boots, and chunky silver rings. Smells like herbs and always has a tarot deck in her bag.

Personality: A natural extrovert with a mystical, almost eerie presence. Katie believes in energy, spirits, and the power of the unknown. While she can be playful, she's also the most serious when it comes to solving the mysteries of Hollowbrook. She's fiercely intelligent and loves theorizing about conspiracies.

Interests: Witchcraft, tarot reading, astronomy, old books, collecting candles, and writing in her journal.

Lily Harper

Appearance: Long wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, sun-kissed skin. Dresses in soft pastels, cosy overalls, and hand-knit sweaters. Always has a camera, a homemade pastry, or a tiny injured animal she's nursing back to health.

Personality: Gentle yet fearless, Lily has a quiet strength that holds the group together. She sees beauty in everything and has an instinct for sensing when something is off. Though she's sweet and kind, she can be surprisingly determined when chasing a mystery.

Interests: Photography, baking, drawing, gardening, and rescuing injured animals
