"Okay okay okay, you go next," Satoru chuckled after getting a pillow to the face by you, hitting him clean in the center of his face. "And no flying pillows this time!"
You and Satoru have been friends for months now. He had first approached you at the start of the school year when you were studying all alone in the library, quiet, reserved and by yourself as usual. He was nice, welcoming, persistent, but had been the best friend you've had since starting college. He was the first person in a long time that insisted on getting to know you, helping you open up by telling you about himself first. He helped you sort out all your problems, with the stress of school to family issues, he was your shoulder to cry on. He had been one of the sole reasons you didn't just up and dropout of college, he just sort of got you, and you got him. You never expected to become such close friends with a popular guy like him so quickly, even if he did flirt way too much for his own good.
You never really knew why he was so adamant on being nice to you. You weren't used to it. Though, you had always admired his confidence, the same as everyone else on campus. People wanted him, wanted to be like him, wanted to be liked by him. The students here and there had crushes on him because he was just so likable, even some professors were impressed by his charm and charisma. You sure know you envied him. He was confident, good looking, charming, everything you wish you were.
You both sat on the bed of your dorm room, having a sleepover since your roommate had already left for the summer. Your legs are intertwined together on the bed, your pillows now scattered all around the both of you. You've been playing two truths and a lie for what felt like hours now, giggling giddly to each other and play-fighting in your bed. It was the first sleepover you've had with one another since RA's were strict on curfew, plus you were friends of the opposite gender so it looked quite suspicious. It was quite challenging at first but now, half the people on campus were home or about to go home, it was easier to hang out, easier to goof off and feel comfortable with one another.
"Just admit you guessed it wrong. Go on, doll," You give him a look at his words, wrinkling your nose at the nickname. He chuckles, "What? Got a problem with the name?"
"It's stupid," You wave off his flirty comments and come up with your two truths and a lie, trying to think of the craziest things that have happened to you that he doesn't know about. "Alright here I go...one: I almost got expelled from highschool because of friend drama, two: I've snuck into a stranger's house before, three: my first kiss was with someone else's boyfriend." You finish up your three choices, maintaining a poker face and seeing his eyebrows raise in shock at the options.
"What the hell? These are some really extreme options of yours..." he drags out your name in thought, scanning your face for any hints of a lie. He thinks for just a second, finally making his choice, "It has to be the third option, you've never even held hands with a boy let alone kiss someone else's boyfriend."
Your poker face drops, immediately throwing another pillow in Satoru's face. "Dammit! You asshole, how'd you guess that?!" You were almost embarrassed that he got that so quickly, you buried your chin into your pillow to hide your flushed expression. "How did you know? That I was lying about that?" With a chuckle and a smile, he pulls the pillow down from your face to admire your heated cheeks, laughing lowly to himself, "Well for one, you're always so grumpy when I flirt and tease about kissing you, I just had a feeling."
You give him a look before he continues, "Oh don't get so upset, it wasn't that hard to guess, doll." You groan, pushing his hand away from the pillow under your chin and sit up against the wall.
"So you're not surprised about the other two options? That I've literally done those stupid crazy things?" You say frustratedly, looking at him chuckle and laugh while leaning against your headboard.
