Belphegor X Reader: Sick Night

Being the cloud guardian of Vongola's Special Assassination Squad, Varia was really though. Especially when you're with a shit-brained people that don't know to do anything good in life but to do shit and make noise inside the HQ.

"VOIIIIII, WHERE'S THAT SHITTY BOSS?!" well, you know where that voice came from. It's from the noisy captain, Squalo as he entered the living room. Nobody even bothered to answer him. Instead, the shitty prince and the shitty frog just keep on playing I'll-throw-my-knife-and-aim-at-your-froggy-head-while-you-complain-that-I-keep-on-stabbing-you shit.

"Maa... Maa... Squ-chan, you're so noisy. If you're looking for the boss, he's just in the dining room, complaining about his food." Lussuria answered as he/she sipped on his/her tea.

You literally saw a vein popped on your captain's forehead.

"That shitty boss... WHY IS HE EATING THIS TIME WHEN WE HAVE A SCHEDULED MEETING FOR THE NEXT MISSION?!" he snapped as he burst out of the room yelling about that 'shitty boss.'

You sighed.

Why am I surrounded by shit-heads?

You rolled your eyes in annoyance, even though the captain left, noise was still in the room. You put your sketch pad and pencil down. You cannot think of anything to draw, especially in this kind of place. You rubbed your temples, you guys have been on break in the past three days while you literally do nothing, and yet, your head is throbbing.

"Hey, what's up, (Name)? Ushishishi." You sighed as you heard the voice of the shitty prince. You glared at him and he let out his famous 'ushishishi'.

"Ushishishi, why so grumpy?" he teased you more. Actually, ever since you were hired as a cloud guardian, Belphegor never stop teasing you. You don't know what his intentions are but you clearly know that he's a shit for a prince and he loves to annoy everyone.

"Bel, fuck off." You closed your eyes and rest your head at the back of the couch, feeling the throbbing of your head. You sighed.

Bel noticed the redness of your face and the heaviness of your breath. His annoying grin disappeared as he realized your situation.

"Oy, (name). Are you sick?" he asked. He brought his hand to your forehead to check your temperature but Flan's hand was already on your forehead.

"Ah... Bel-senpai, (name)-senpai is sick... Wow... Her temperature is high." Flan said with his usual emotionless face.

A vein popped on Bel's head...

"You little..." he wasn't able to finish his sentence when you get up and walks out of the room. Yup, you were tired of their annoying shits and you decided to take a break from them. You're sick and they're not helping. So you just went to your room instead.

And there, when night time falls, the cough won't let you breath properly. It feels like your lungs are coming out from your chest as you cough hard. So you caught flu then. You peeked at the clock on your bedside table and you noticed that it's already ten in the evening. They were calling you for dinner few hours ago but you're not in the condition to eat anything.

You grabbed a tissue paper beside your pillow and blow your nose to it. Your body and head feels heavy, your eyes feels like burning, your nose feels like waterfalls, and your throat is dry. You coughed.

Goodness...

You were surprised when someone burst into your room. Of course, there are only three people who would enter your room like that. It's the captain, the shitty prince, and the shitty frog. But this one is blond so, it's the shitty prince.

You jolted up as he bursts inside your room.

"What the hell are you doing here, Bel?!" You shouted. You winced in pain when you felt your head throb.

"Shit..." you muttered.

"Ushishishi, relax, (name)." he said as he closed the door and sits on your bed.

"What are you doing here?" you asked again as you lay down.

He didn't answer, but instead, he walks towards the bathroom, and when he came out, he was holding a basin with water and a towel.

You frowned.

He came back beside you, placing the basin on the bedside table. He dipped the towel on the water, he squeezed it, and then placed it on your forehead.

"B-bel..." you said. You noticed the blush that crept into his face that brought a blush on your face.

"W-well... T-that will do... I guess. So, I should go now." He stood up and about to go when you grabbed his hand, this surprised him. He slowly turns his head towards you, his mouth slightly opened, and he is blushing.

Seeing his face brought a blush on your face, but you smiled at him.

"Don't... Just stay..." you said softly.

Bel grinned and he lay down next to you.

"I'll be here... Sleep..." he softly said. Surprisingly without his annoying grin and chuckle. You felt at ease just being beside the shitty prince.

You wrapped your arm around him, placing your head on his chest as you close your eyes. He started playing with your hair.

"Sleep now, mi principessa... Ti amo..."

You heard him say as you dozed off to sleep.
