-This AU starts with Shellington, his twin sister Pearl, and their parents moving to America because their father had gotten a job as a marine biologist. While everyone else is excited, Shellington isn't exactly thrilled about leaving his home in Scotland behind.
-All the friends he got close to, all of their family members, all the memories he and his family made together? Gone, ripped from his paws, and he couldn't do a thing about it.
-The family of otters moved to America right before Shellington & Pearl's sophomore year of high school. Things were already bad enough for Shellington. He had to leave his home country, along with his friends and family, his body was changing, and he had to be transferred to a new school. Life couldn't be going any worse for the poor creature.
-Pearl, however, is very excited to be moving. While she will miss her friends and family back home, she's willing to give her new life in the states a chance.
-The fic will start from Shellington's POV and every time you see a "***", the POV will change.
-This fic is my interpretation of the the Octonauts' origins, so if you don't like how a character is portrayed, then keep it to yourself.
