Y/N's POV

It's actually really common for businessmen to arrange their kid's marriages. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My parents were arranged too. But I must say, we're definitely one of the lucky ones because my two older brothers and I had a wonderful childhood growing up.

Initially, mom was handling her parents' business while dad handled his. However, she had chosen to become a housewife after she had given birth to my eldest brother. And to her surprise, everyone was extremely supportive of her decision.

Ever since then, dad had become the sole breadwinner in our household. The business he was responsible for had started booming not long after that which resulted in his increasing rate of busyness.

Despite the fact that dad doesn't spend much time with us when we were younger, mom had always been there for us no matter what.

Even though she had to do most things on her own in raising the three of us up, she would still frequently remind us that dad loves us and he's doing everything he could to provide the best for our family. Due to that, me and my brothers have developed nothing but immense respect towards our father, thanks to her.

Only after dad's business was more stable that he'd finally been able to be around more. Mom was indeed the happiest because she could at last, spend more quality time to bond with her husband and kids at the same time.

Now that me and my siblings are all grown up, and dad could rely on my brothers to handle the business, my parents are always on the go as they love to travel. And not gonna lie, they travel a lot these days.

Anyway... One day, they came back from one of their trips and this was where things got a lot more interesting.

"Y/n-ah..." Mom started when we were having dinner. I feel like something was coming but I tried not to think about it too much.

"So we've been thinking..." she continued and I raised my eyebrows while shifting my gaze from her and then to my dad. "We're going to set you up with someone!" she excitedly squealed with a big smile plastered on her face. 'I knew it!' I exclaimed in my mind.

"With whom?" I asked straight to the point, knowing well that I'll have to go through this sooner or later. moonwritesfics

"You know the Kims right?" my dad suddenly opened his mouth. I shook my head and my mom looked confused. "Which Kims, though?" I frowned.

"I think you have a lot of Kims as your business partners," I added. "In my class, there were like 10 Kims who aren't even related to each other," I continued, trying to make fun of the situation.

My brothers burst into silent chuckles as my parents glared at me. They were not at all impressed with my humour.

"Aish this girl... I know you know them!" my mom playfully pinched my arm which made me laugh. "But lucky you, y/n-ah! If you don't know them, they'll be coming over tomorrow so you have to be prepared," she pointed out and I just nodded because I know I couldn't do anything about it.

"But mom... I have a question," I stated and smirked while looking at my brothers. They noticed that I was up to something. "Don't you think you should find Yoongi and Hoseok partners too?" I pointed out.

"I mean, they are older than me. So shouldn't they get married first?" I asked mom, which made my brothers instantaneously look at me. I tried so hard to hold in my laughter. I just like to tease them... a lot!

"No, sweetheart. The business is quite hectic now so they have a lot of things on their plates. Maybe next year for Yoongi and the following for Hoseok," my dad said with a straight face while digging into his food.

My brothers sighed with relief and I stuck my tongue out at them. To be honest, I don't really have any objections regarding this arrangement issue. Just like my dad and my brothers, I myself am an entrepreneur too.

Hence, I don't really have the time to go on dates and have never been in a long term relationship. My exes would normally break up with me after a month or so since I couldn't 'satisfy their needs' which I don't really care much about anyway.

My dad already gave some parts of his company to my brothers after they had finished their studies a few years back. And he also wanted to pass down one part to me after I was done studying about 2 years ago.

However, I declined. I wanted to set up my own business, which initially he was against. But with the help of my mother, he was able to be convinced.

Plus, I don't really like his type of business though. You know, the typical suit-wearing, office-going, corporate meeting-attending, kind of life. I'd prefer doing everything at my own time, being creative and expressive while at it. That's why I was determined.

I knew that I've always liked fashion. But unfortunately, I don't think I'm fashionable at all. I'm the simple kind where I'd always choose being comfortable over being stylish. Therefore, I've gathered other independent fashion designers and clothing brand owners, and created my own online shopping site. It's still considered a small company, but I'm happy with it.

After one and a half years of hard work and perseverance, now I already have my own warehouse with 100 employees. To be honest, it might not seem like much, but we're currently quite stable and definitely expanding.

My aim is that one day, I'll have my own brand to sell on my site. In fact, for the past few months, I have already drafted some designs with my creative team to release a casual sling bag collection.

Timeskip (The next day)

Y/N's POV

"Oh my god! What are you wearing?!" my mom shrieked once she saw my outfit. I was wearing a long sleeve oversized light blue hoodie with a pair of black skinny jeans.

"Mom, we're at home and I'm wearing something decent already," I reasoned but she dragged me into my room and chose a dress for me to wear. "You're wearing this," she handed me the item.

"And put on some makeup, please. You look so pale that I couldn't tell if you're dead or alive," she shook her head but I chuckled at her statement.

It's really cute seeing mom all stressed out like this since this is like once in a blue moon kind of thing.
