First Day of School Part 1

I don't know exactly when this takes place, but Angela and Wesely have two kids, Jack and Sadie. Nyla and James have Lyla and Leah.

Today was Zoe's first day of preschool, Tim and I are nervous because she is a timid kid. I would say Tim is more anxious for her to go than me. Zoe is excited, but I don't think she fully understands what school is yet. Ever since she was born, everyone called her mini Bradford because she looks a lot like her dad and has always had Tim and I wrapped around her finger.

Tim and I got married about 3 years ago, and not even a month into our marriage, we found out we were pregnant. I was nervous at first to tell Tim, but he was ecstatic. When we found out it was a girl, we decided we wanted to name her Zoe after Chief Zoe, who died in the line of duty. Tamara was ecstatic when I told her I was pregnant. She might not be blood-related, but she has been like a little sister to me ever since she came into my life. Angelia and Nyla were excited to have another person joining the mom club at the station and for Jack, Sadie, and Leah to have another playmate, of course.

Tim and I decided we would both take Zoe to her first day of school and walk her in before we headed to the station for our shifts. We talked to Sgt. Grey and he,e of course, told us to take Zoe to school and said to check in when we got to the station. Zoe likes to call him Papa Grey, which at first he wasn't too sure about, but after a while of Zoe calling him it, he grew fond of it, which then led to Jack, Sadie, and Leah calling him it too.

"Mommy, Daddy, school day!" Zoe says, is coming into our room and jumping onto our bed.

"Yes, Baby, it is," Tim says tiredly. Looking over at the clock, I see it's 6:15 am and sigh. I was hoping we could sleep till at least 6:30, but Zoe can be a morning person sometimes.

"Alright, come here, Baby," Tim says, grabbing her as she crawls up to him, She starts giggling as he pulls her onto his chest, tickling her.

"Mommy, help me," she says, laughing.

"You got yourself into this one," I say, laughing, pulling her over kiss her.

"Did you wake Auntie Tamara?" Tim asks her. She nods her head and climbs off the bed, running out of our room.

"Well, Good morning," I say, leaning into Tim.

"Good morning, Luc," He says, kissing me.

"I was so hoping she would sleep longer and not wake us up early, but I should've known," I say with a sigh.

"Wel,l if she wasn't awake, I'd have my way with you before wor,k but," He says with a mischievous grin.

I slap his arm, "You had your way with me last night in the shower after she went to bed," I say, laughing.

"Not my fault you're so gorgeous," he says, climbing out of bed.

"You can have your way with me again tonight in the shower," I say, laughing, "we need to get out there before she starts feeding Kojo food for the cabinets.

"Zoe, what are you wanting for breakfast today?" Tim asks, walking into the kitchen and starting our coffee. She runs over to me so I can lift her into her chair.

"I want loops!" she says.

"Alright, sit in your chair, and I'll get you your fruit loops," Tim says, getting her cereal. I put Zoe in her booster chair and kissed her cheek before going to find Kojo.

"Kojo, potty time," I say, walking past him in bed. He immediately gets up and waits for me to open the door. I unlock the door and let him outside before returning to the kitchen.
