The memory keeper PART 1

Chapter 3

                 "A glimpse of Ryan"
 

  I felt moody the whole night that i didn't know when I slept off . It was already a Monday morning and I promised mom that I will come visit her at my step father's place. I have hated it since mummy got married to my step father daddy died when I was in my finals in senior high by a car accident. And since mummy remarried I haven't seen her nor my step dad I only talk to her on phones and she also told me that I've got two more siblings; Natasha and Romeo.

   I off the ignition of my car stepped down from the car to buy some chocolate bars for my step-siblings when I stepped on what looks like a pendant which looks quite old as I picked it up I started having the memories of the owner who seems to be known as Ryan. His memories kept on running in my brain until I was quacked by an old woman man .

         "Watch where you are going young woman this is an entrance not a stand pole"
       "Sorry ma'am I will be watchful next time I plead as I entered the store to get what I wanted to buy.
   Memories of Ryan kept on flashing on my mind till I arrived at my step dad's place and alighted from the car.

        "I guess you are Emily??"a boy who seems to be in his early teens or so asked me.
       "Yh and guess you are Romeo, have heard a lot about you "."where is mom"??I asked not expecting him to answer as I entered the building .
      "Ooh mom is making lunch with my twin sister Natasha".
     "Mum never told me you were twins"
    "And mom never told me I have another sister."he snapped immediately
      "Oh I see".

We had a chitchat throughout that day I  got to know more about my mom new home,we talked about her new husband, the children disturbing her with their assignment then daddy and how we missed her we fixed a date of visiting the cemetery cause since dad died we haven't visited the cemetery,mummy will always say "I have found myself in a new family and new rules".
   We talked about my career and we talked a lot about the past how I behaved and what surprised me the most was mummy thinking that what i told her in the past was still imagination we chatted cracked jokes with the children by then exposing their secrets of Natasha having a boyfriend at school who always gives her his lunch at school and Romeo wooing a senior high student who was five times older than him.

  The day came to an end but I can't take the memories of Ryan off my head I was always thinking of him every now and then I had to tell Rose who advised me to look into his matter. I became so engrossed with the locket as I kept it where I do keep my treasures.

I was still thinking about him until I slept off that day. The day was tiresome as i have done some shopping before coming back home.
