Confirmation: Everything is Fine

For the first time ever, Shido was relieved to see the woman who keeps trying to marry him, then looks back to Yuzuru while innocently saying, "well would you look at that? Guess you should take your seat."

For some strange reason, Yuzuru continued to stand there which only adds to Shido's unease until she finally looks away and more or less robotically walks away. Finally feeling relieved, Shido looks over at a still shocked Kaguya while asking, "care to explain?"

Finally able to calm herself, Kaguya starts to sport a serious expression while replying, "that is her coping mechanism. It usually comes out when she wants to hide her emotions, but this...."

She glances over at a still stone faced Yuzuru while continuing, "this is a whole other level."

With his concern only growing, Shido asks, "is there any way of getting her out of it without causing her any further harm?"

With a thought coming to mind, Kaguya tells him, "The only way for her to break this spell is for her to confront the cause of it."

A bit surprised to hear this, Shido asks, "so she needs to confront Burchard?"

Kaguya nods in response which causes Shido to look over at Burchard's empty seat while saying, "then we should talk to him when he gets to class...."

He looks back to her while continuing, "wouldn't want him to accidently make things worse."

Again, she nods in agreement but before she could add anything else, Ms Tamae speaks up saying, "all right class!!! Now take out your textbooks and...."

Before she could say anything else, she got interrupted by the class phone suddenly ringing. Caught off guard by this, she picks up the phone and listens intently then after thanking the caller, she puts it down. Now back in front of class, Ms Tamae tells them, "that was the office, it seems Burchard has caught quite the cold so he won't be in today."

For the most part, no one seemed to care about this since most of the class didn't really know him. Though the few students that did know him couldn't share this sentiment, especially Shido who looked at the front of classroom with a deadpan stare while thinking to himself, "you gotta be kidding me."

Realizing something though, Shido quickly looks over, only to become worried to see Yuzuru sitting there silently, though what worries him the most was the rate at which her one eye was twitching. Hoping for some reassurance, Shido looks over to Kaguya, only to be disheartened to see her sporting the same look of worry. With class now underway, all he could do was sigh disheartedly while thinking to himself, "this is gonna be a long day."

After an uneasy day of school work, it was finally time to pack up and go home but while everyone was doing this, Ms Tamae continued to stand at the front of the class while holding a plastic bag and asks, "before you all go, I have a favour to ask."

With everyone's attention turning to the front of the room, Ms Tamae continues, "could someone please bring Burchard today's homework?"

Even though everyone stayed quiet, hearing this seems to give Kaguya an intriguing idea and while she looks over at a stone faced Yuzuru, she asks, "why don't you bring him his homework?"

After a brief pause, Yuzuru's head slowly cranks over and while blankly staring back at her sister, she replies, "rebuttal: why would Yuzuru do that?"

With an innocent smile, Kaguya responds, "well I mean you are his neighbour, so it'll be easy. Plus, I'm sure you wanna check on him."

Unfazed by this, Yuzuru responds, "denial: Yuzuru does not want to do such a thing. She is sure that he does not want to see her, especially if he is not well."
