"Hey, angel, wait up" The ravenette stepped forward, cutting off the blonde's path with a determined look.
"What do you want, Hyunjin?" The younger exhaled a weary sigh, attempting to move past, but the taller held his ground.
"You" Hyunjin's voice...
"Omo, Hyunjin! Hy!" Jaehyun looked over the still frozen blonde's shoulder as he plastered an overly sweet grin on his face. "I was just looking for you. We've got some unfinished business, don't we? But let's save that for later. Right now, I'd appreciate it if you left us alone" His eyes flickered back to Felix. "I've got some personal matters to take care of with him"
He took a step closer and reached out to lift Felix's face.
Thump
Before he could even process what had happened, he was thrown against the ground with a raging Hyunjin on top of him.
The crowd barely had time to react before the ravenette slammed his fist into the guy's side.
"Fucking pathetic piece of shit, I told you not to touch him" he snarled as his chest rose and fall raggedly.
Jaehyun groaned before lifting a shaky hand to push him away, only to be slammed against the ground with even more force.
The students had gone completely silent as no one dared to step in or even breathe too loud.
Felix had seen Hyunjin angry before, but this wasn't just rage. He was practically seeing red.
The aura around him was downright murderous as he kept punching the guy continuously.
The younger couldn't move at all from his spot, his whole body was shaking, and he couldn't do anything about it. He felt Jisung's trembling fingers clutching onto his sleeve to hold on as both of them just stood there in horror, watching everything happen right in front of their eyes.
The hallway was turning into a mess as more people shoved in, the sound of feet scuffling against the floor grew louder, but all Felix could focus on was the sickening sound of fists colliding with skin over and over again.
It wasn't just Hyunjin and Jaehyun anymore. Minjun had thrown himself into the fight, grabbing at Hyunjin and trying to yank him away from his friend, but Hyunjin wasn't budging.
Felix felt tears burn at the corners of his eyes when Hyunjin's head snapped to the side from the impact of a sickening punch. But the taller didn't even flinch. If anything, it only fueled him more as he launched himself at the two and struck back.
Everything felt suffocating, and he couldn't slow his heartbeat from pounding against his chest.
His breath came out in shaky gasps as he forced himself to move, finally breaking free from the stiffness that had held him in place. If he didn't stop him, he was sure one of them would end up dying.
"H-Hyunjin..." His voice barely made it out, but Hyunjin was too caught up in his rage to even hear him.
A sob ripped through his throat as his knees gave out, sending him onto the floor. With trembling hands, he reached out and wrapped them tightly around the older from behind, desperately trying to pull him back.
"Hyunjin, p-please... stop, please I beg you" he cried out loud.
Hyunjin's fist hovered in the air as his chest rose and fell harshly. His whole body was still pulsing with rage, all he could taste was copper and fury, but the moment he felt the younger's trembling form against his back, something in him snapped. His surroundings started to come into focus as a smear of harsh lights hit his burning eyelids. He squinted, making out the faces of the students watching everything in panic. His grip tightened for a second around the almost unconscious guy before he shoved him to the floor one last time.
He didn't spare the bastard another glance before turning around and reaching down to pull the younger up as he avoided the teary eyes staring at him.
Felix's breathing was uneven as he weakly clutched onto Hyunjin's sleeve, but the older didn't stop to acknowledge it. He straight up looked at Jisung, who gave him a small nod.
Hyunjin didn't hesitate after that as he gripped his wrist and pulled him along towards the exit.
