The way her circular face would pout and the small creases next to her mouth would become prominent. The way her dark hazel eyes would glisten whenever she felt pity, and the feel of her dark blonde hair. How could I have yelled at her like that?

I breathed slowly. "I found out who the guy was."

She peered up at me, her eyebrows furrowing. "What guy?"

"The guy Ursanne's been sneaking around with. She calls him Andy."

"Andrew's 'My Man?'"

I shook my head. "Good Lookin'."

"Oh yeah. Your name under my phone is 'My Man.'"

It got me to crack a small smile, but I knew what she was doing.

"You knew, didn't you."

She wrapped her arms around my neck. "No, but I did think about it. I didn't really think he'd do that to you, though. I thought he had a little bit of decency."

"Honestly, I'm not even surprised anymore."

Collie and I stood together for a second before she kissed me long and hard. The best thing about kissing Collie is the fact that it can make me forget about everything and just let me think of her. They're like my own type of drug. And these ones are the best kind.

I leant back against the post and pulled her closer to me, our fronts both touching. We kissed for what felt like forever before she pulled away.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"I think Andrew really likes Ursanne." I opened my mouth, but she didn't let me speak. "And I know you don't like it and I don't blame you, but how much do you think it would suck if we couldn't be together because of your sister. We wouldn't get to kiss like that."

"I feel like they'd make it happen anyway." Which they did.

"You're an amazing friend and an amazing brother, Brayden. I'm so lucky and so grateful to have you as my boyfriend. And what they're doing isn't okay, but they're kids just like us. Who knows, maybe they'll break up sooner than you think."

I thought about that for a moment. My prayers would be answered if Andrew and Ursa broke up, but I wouldn't want her to go through that. I didn't want to think about it that much yet.

"You do agree with me though, right? The sneaking around behind my back is unforgivable on his part."

"I understand your reluctance to forgive him more now, but yeah, that isn't okay."

I bit my lip. "You tried to get me to do it."

She shut her eyes in embarrassment. "I obviously really liked you."

I laughed and then took a deep breath. "I should let them date, huh."

Collie looked directly into my eyes and batted her eye lashes before nodding. "I ship them."

I playfully rolled my eyes. "You would." I pulled her into my chest and huffed.

"I'm sorry about what I said earlier."

There's the guilt. "I'm sorry for overreacting."

"Sometimes I forget about your old life. And you're right. I don't know what all that was like." I bit my lip, a lump beginning at my throat. "I just want to support you, but at the same time, I want to make sure that you don't regret any choices you make."

And I didn't doubt her words for a second. Sometimes, Collie can be a saint, and I love her for that.

"So?" she asked.
