I looked around the kitchen, it was spacious. A group of people surrounded the counter, kyle lead me that way and joined in. How does he even know these people.

"Kyle, who's this lovely girl?" A guy asked smiling at me.

"My girlfriend, Kelsey" he kisses my temple.

"Hello, Kelsey" he smiles, everyone waved and stared as if I didn't belong here but I didn't let that bother me because they were right.

My phone vibrated and it was Shelby.

"Hey, I'll be right back I'm going to meet Shelby outside" kyle nods and returns to his conversation. I walked away, passing the same group of guys they said something to me but I didn't acknowledge them.

Walking out front, I saw Shelby.

"Shelby!" I shout, she looks my way and starts walking.

"Hey, Kelsey you look hot" she compliments me.

"I can say the same about you" I winked.

She giggled.

"Where's kyle?"

"In the kitchen with his friends," I shrugged really not caring.

"Is that girl here?" She asks.

"No, I didn't see here. Just a bunch of guys" she nods, but doesn't say anything further.

We walked inside the party, heading straight to the kitchen. Kyle was still in the same spot, laughing about something.

I stood next to him, listening in on the conversation about how he had sex with some guy named Trevor's girlfriend.

"Kelsey, I'm thirsty come with me?" I nod, leaving and walking out back.

"Have you talked to Justin?" I shook my head.

"Why?"

"Just asking, I seen his girlfriend at the mall with some guy"

"Okay and what does that have to do with me?"

"I don't know, if they broke up maybe-"

"Shelby, let's not go there" I sighed "I'm with Kyle"

"I know you are, but Justin and you would be cuter" she whines.

I roll my eyes and leaned against the table with drinks. Shelby is so hung up with the idea of me and Justin dating, he's hot and all but I don't think I'm his type. We are just Snapchat buddies.

Speaking of Snapchat, I had one earlier. I unlocked my phone and opened the yellow app.

I clicked on his name, there he was in a shirtless selfie with a straight face on but his mouth slightly open and eyebrows pushed up.

Hi.

"Shelby, he snapped me" I said.

"Really and you didn't respond?"

"I was in the car, looking at my stories but I didn't bother opening it because kyle was looking" I explained.

"Well, are you going to respond" I nodded.

I doubled tapped his name and held my phone a little high.

I used my signature selfie look, one eye closed and the other one opened as I covered my mouth.
