~A Glimpse of Destiny~

Start from the beginning

Maharaj Vijay Maheshwari's eyes sparkled with amusement at his daughter's feisty response. Queen Amrita smiled, her eyes shining with warmth and affection for her spirited child.

Maharaj Vijay Maheshwari bowed low, his hands clasped together in a teasing gesture of surrender, saying, "Acha thik hai, Rajkumari Maahi Maheshwari! Hamari galti...aap hum maaf kar dijiye" [Alright, alright, Princess Maahi Maheshwari! We're at fault...please forgive us].

As he spoke, he burst into a warm, hearty laugh, his eyes twinkling with mirth. Queen Amrita joined in, her laughter like music, and the tension was broken. Maahi's face relaxed, and she couldn't help but giggle at her father's playful antics.

Maharani Amrita's voice was gentle and soothing as she said, "Acha acha, ab tum dono chalu. Aaj ke liye itni talwar bazzi kafi hai" [Alright, alright, you two can stop now. Enough sword fighting for today].

As she spoke, she lovingly caressed Maahi's cheek, her touch warm and tender. Maahi's eyes lit up with affection, and she smiled up at her mother, feeling happy and content.

The boy's voice was firm and assertive as he said, "Par maa...Aaj toh Sunday hai, mujhe company bhi nahi jana, aur Maahi ko abhi mujhe bahut kuch sikhana hai" [But mother...Today is Sunday, I don't have to go to the company, and I still have a lot to teach Maahi].

Maharani Amrita's eyebrows rose slightly, impressed by her son's confident tone. Maharaj Vijay Maheshwari, standing beside her, chuckled and nodded in approval. Maahi, however, looked at her brother with a mixture of amusement and annoyance.

Maharaj Vijay Maheshwari's expression turned serious, and he shook his head, saying, "Aakash, aaj Jodhpur ke Maharaj aur unka parivar aa raha hai...isliye" [Aakash, today the Maharaj of Jodhpur and his family are arriving...that's why].

As he spoke, his gaze shifted lovingly towards Maahi, who was blushing and looking shy. Her eyes dropped, and she fidgeted with her sword, trying to compose herself. Maharani Amrita's eyes sparkled with knowing glint, and she smiled softly, her eyes fixed on her daughter.

Aakash's voice was laced with teasing amusement as he said, "Acha matlab, aaj Rajkumar Veer Rathore bhi aayenge" [So, that means Rajkumar Veer Rathore will also arrive today].

As he spoke, he playfully pushed Maahi's shoulder with his own, trying to get a rise out of her. Maahi's face turned a deep shade of crimson, and she let out a embarrassed whine, "Bhai sa!!" [Brother!!].

She quickly turned around and ran away from the sword ground, her feet pattering against the stone floor as she disappeared into the palace. Aakash burst into laughter, and Maharaj Vijay Maheshwari chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. Maharani Amrita smiled knowingly, her eyes twinkling with delight.

She opened her room door and closed it back after coming inside. She breathed heavily while her eyes were closed. Maahi's eyes drifted open, and she gazed adoringly at the photo frame on her bedside table. Her fingers trailed delicately over the image of Rajkumar Veer Rathore, as if memorizing every line of his ruggedly handsome face. His piercing blue eyes, strong jawline, and chiseled features made her heart flutter.

Her touch lingered on the photo, as if seeking a connection with the man behind the image. A soft sigh escaped her lips, and her eyelids fluttered shut, lost in thought. The room was filled with the sound of her heavy breathing, as emotions swirled within her.

Maahi's thoughts were a jumble of emotions as she gazed at Veer's photo. Her brow furrowed, and her lips pouted in a cute expression of annoyance. "Hum aap se bahut gussa hai...aap ne hame bataya bhi nhi ki aap aayenge....jabki aapne hame kal call bhi kiya tha" [I'm very angry with you...you didn't even tell me you were coming...despite calling me yesterday].
