I wake up to my alarm BLARING, loud enough to give me a headache this early. Ow. I look down at myself, in my same clothes from yesterday and, ...Smelling bad. I should shower before I leave. I don't wanna arrive smelling bad on the first day.
After I shower, I grab my car keys, a bag full of items I think I'd need, and hop into my car. The car ride over there isn't long, plus they're playing some good rock songs on the radio today. Three Days Grace, actually. Man I hadn't heard them in forever. I pull into the school parking lot. Another car is already here? It's 6! And school doesn't start until 7:45,..then again I'm here. Oh well, I decided not to think about it much and carry the boxes I bought to my room, even though I could barely see where I was going. Nearly tripping over my own two feet, I somehow managed to make it. I put the boxes down and stretch a little, they were pretty heavy. I begin to put up decorations and make the room more lively, even found this bulletin board! After putting that up I write my name on the whiteboard.
"You're here early." I jumped a little hearing the male voice. I whip my head around, and see the principal standing in my doorway. I'm already not too big on him so I don't intend on making a lot of conversation with him.
"Had to set up for the day." I speak with a tone that indicates no emotion, I tried making it as bland as possible. From the moment I met him I could tell his ego was big, ..bigger than his head. I really shouldn't give him attitude though, he is my boss, and also half robot, that alone is scary enough.
"Wow, you're taking this very seriously."
"Well I'd hope so, this is my new job that I, you know, intend on keeping." He laughed a little at that comment, I started to despise him more, god who does he think he is?
"...Your eye is twitching, [L/N]." He shouted while walking away. ..Oh wow, it really was. Was I that angry? Damn, being around him can NOT be good for my blood pressure.
By the time the bell rings, my classroom looks new! ..Besides the old coding books from my birth year. I sit down, and look at my roster. I see a name that sort of throws me off. Melvin Sneedly? Maybe the principal has a son? ..I HAVE THE PRINCIPAL'S SON IN MY CLASSROOM?! Damn, there goes my Friday funday lessons. Kids storm my room, all chattering. I say good morning to some, and some of them say it back, some don't, but that's okay, I'm just happy to be here. The first bell has rung, I take a deep breath, put on my best "I'm happy to teach" smile, and introduce myself.
"Good Morning everybody! I'm your new coding teacher, Mx. [L/N]! Today, everyone will be writing about themselves to help me get to know you guys better."I speak while passing out papers, thereś even an option to draw yourselves. "Remember, it's perfectly okay if you can't draw, not everyone's an artist. If anyone needs anything, I'll be at my desk." I sit down, and take a good long look at the kids in my class. The kid on the left with a tie and flat top is talking to the kid on his right with a t-shirt and a bad haircut, ...I should remember that now. Suddenly, my classroom door SWINGS open and I see a- ..robot? What the f
"Greetings, raw human material. I am your new instructor. You are obsolete."
"Woah hey wOAH-" I shout, before I am immediately trapped in a fish net, the kids just stare in shock, and I basically do the same thing. Not long after, I hear an announcement come on. "Attention! I have replaced your regular carbon-based teachers with state-of-the-art Teachertron 2000. For all you non-Melvins, good luck."
I stare in disbelief before I'm pathetically dragged out of my classroom. Another robot walks by, walks into my classroom, and slams the door shut. ..What the hell is happening?
