"you didn't tell Asami right?" Kai whispered to Jinora

"no I didn't, she has no clue, but why doesn't Korra want her to know?"

"I'm not sure, maybe it has to do with Korra leaving again"

"wait she's leaving again?" Jinora was surprised

"yeah, her 5 year isn't over, she has 2 months left"

"when does she leave?"

"she has to catch a flight tomorrow night"

"what's taking so long" Ikki sighed getting everyone's attention "we made the reservation for 15 minutes ago"

"calm down, they're busy, we're not in a rush" Asami chuckled

Seconds later 2 people came in laughing. Asami looked over seeing Mako and Korra laughing with each other. She blushed seeing Korra cut her hair short again, which Asami preferred since it brought out Korra's facial features more.

"what's so funny?" Bolin asked

"we're talking about how you got your foot stuck in the toilet back in high school" Korra said making Jinora and Kai laugh

"Jinora?" Korra realized the girls were there

"can we not talk about my foot being stuck in a toilet" Bolin crossed his arms

"hey you asked" Mako said

"why was your foot in a toilet in the first place?" Opal asked

"Kai dared me for 10 bucks" Bolin sighed

"how'd you get out?" Ginger asked

"Mako and Korra had to pull me out while Kai was laughing on the floor recording" Bolin rolled his eyes

"it was so funny because me and Korra were walking down the hall and we see Mako running out in panic, he didn't say not one word, he gabbed Korra's hand and pulled her to the boy's bathroom" Jinora was laughing "I followed out of curiosity and you just hear Kai laughing, Bolin crying and Korra calling both of them stupid"

"Korra and Mako always yelled at us when we did something stupid, they were mom and dad of the group but sometimes Korra would do stupid things too" Kai said

"what stupid things did I do?" Korra raised a brow but before any could answer the hostess came up yo them

"did we have any reservations?" The lady asked then saw Korra "Korra? it's so good to see you" she hugged the woman and Korra hugged back "I didn't know you were coming"

"it's alright, I didn't call" Korra nervously chuckled "I kind of forgot, how you been?"

Asami couldn't help but watch how Korra interacted with this Jackie girl. 'Old friends? but not even her friends know Jackie, maybe they slept together... I wouldn't be surprised' Asami rolled her eyes at the thought

"I've been good, how long are you staying?" She asked. Everyone just watched the 2 interact

"just tonight, I'm leaving back to republic city for my friends' wedding" she gestured to Kai and Jinora

"I can put tables together for a party of 10 if you like" Jackie offered

"it's ok, we know you guys don't do larger parties than 6, and I don't want to stress you guys out" Korra wasn't trying to complicate anything

"please, anything for you Korra" The woman smiled

"that'll be great then, you're so kind" Korra smiled

"great, you guys can follow me then" she said

They followed her to the table, the table was a short rectangle, 3 chairs on each long side and 2 each short. Jinora and Kai took the 2 seats on the one end to seat next to each other, Ikki took the side seat by her sister and Mako sat across from her, Bolin quickly took the seat next to Mako and Opal next to him, Iroh took the seat next to Ikki and Ginger took the seat next to him.
