High school crush

Chapter 1: New Beginning

The end of winter and the start of spring, one of the best time of year, for me. When weather feels warmer and everything around you start to bloom. Well, I guess, it feels good but not for my allergies haha.

It's monday and I got transferred to new school in South Korea. Yeah, my Korean is so bad, that sucks, but, atleast, my English is good. Well, it was a start of new everything, my life, friends, etc. I moved to Korea by myself because I wanted some peace from my mom and dad. They were fighting all the time and I was sick of it. I visited a psychologist and I ended up having some kind of an anxiety. She told me to talk to them about that but it was hard because all they do is argue and I end up guilty for that somehow. So thats when I started working and saving all that money for this. When that time came, I told my parent that I'll be moving to new country and I'll graduate there. Of course they weren't happy about that, so I told them to don't worry about me, I have money saved up and I'll find job there. I know that I'm just highschool student and I know that it's going to be hard for me, but it is what it is. I needed some peace.

Like I just said, its monday, very sunny day in Seoul and I don't know why, its like 30°C outside. I went to the location where the school I'm transferred to is. There where no students so I was thinking, maybe they are in class. I went in and went to principal's office. So shocked how happy he was when I said I transferred here. I was thinking I was about to be hate on or that I was going to get bullied because I'm not Korean, but principal was cool about it. He told me everything about school, where can I find nurse's office, library, hall, cafetefia and etc. We went to class I was transferred to, 11-B. Not gonna lie, I was having a bit of stage fright, whats going to happen when I enter? Will I receive so much hate? Will I fit in? Am I going to have friends or not? Thoughts were killing me. And I went in. I told I'm new here.

Teacher said:
"So you are the new student? Wellcome!"
Gladly, they were having an english class, so it was an english teacher.
"Hi!" I was first shocked when I heard him speaking English. He told everyone in class that I'm a new student transferred from Balkan. They all went like "Woah!". So I looked confused. Noone actually made fun of me. I introdused myself.
"You have one seat next to Sunghoon, you can seat there." Teacher said.
"Okay." I said.

I said hello to Sunghoon in Korean and told him that I'm not so good with my Korean. He just looked at me and turned his head back.
"Rude." I thought in my head.
Girl in front of me turned around and said:
"Hi! I'm Na Bi, nice to meet you. If you need something just talk to me, I'm good with English so I can help you. And one thing, don't talk to Sung Hoon, he is just a jerk."
"Hi, I have a complicated name so you can just call me by my english name, Jake. Why not?" I said.
"Sung Hoon is the most popular kid in class, not just in class, in whole school. He comes from a rich family, they run some business here in Korea." NaBi said.
"Not just that, all the girls have a crush on him. Who wouldn't? Just look at him, tall, clean skin, nose everything. I wish I was his girlfriend!!!!!!" Some girl said.
I was like:
"Woah, thats why he is so rude? Btw, what is your name?
"Oh, sorry, silly me. Hi, I'm YunJin. NaBi and I are besties!!!" she said.
"Wow, nice to meet you guys. I don't know if you heard my name, Jake." Me.
"If you have any questions, just ask and Yunjin and I will help you with your Korean if you want, of course." Nabi.
"I would love to!" I said.

*after english class*

"What do you think about this new kid Jake, Sunghoon?" Sunghoon's bestfriend.
"I think nothing. I don't know why he transferred here. He doesn't know Korean, he sucks." Sunghoon.
"Hey! Don't be such a jerk, you could atleast say hi back to him, huh? But nooooo." His bestfriend.
"HONEY!!!! What are you up too?" Sunghoon's girlfriend.
"Ugh, I can't stand her, she is such a pick me girl." Yunjin.
"Jealous? Hahahahah, just kidding. Why tho?" I asked.
"That is Yu Na, another rich kid in this school. Everybody think that they are together because their family said so. He is so cold towards her so thats why everyone think that. Perfect couple my ass." Yunjin said.
"Well, I think they look good together. But yeah, he seems co-" Me
Some male kid interrupt me: "Nabi looking good today."
"Really funny Nam Joo, you interrupt Jake mid sentence" Yunjin.
"Oh, sorry! I'm Nam Joo, friend of Yunjin and Nabi. My English is not good but I can speak a little.. hahah." Nam Joo.
"Oh, hahaha, Hi, I'm Jake, nice to meet you." Me.
"You free after class Jake? We can go to a café together?" Nabi asked.
"Yeah sure, I'm more than free. I have so much free time after class." I answered.
"NICE! CAFÉ WITH BEST COFFEE HERE WE GOOOOOO WHOOOOO-" *punch* "Ow!!!! That hurtssss!!!" Namjoo said.
"You deserved it!" Yunjin.
