"whatever" Asami rolled her eyes "come yasuko, say bye to grandpa"

"bye grandpa" she hugged her grandpa and followed her mother out the door

"Should I send a letter to Korra?" Kai asked worried she might not have received it 

"That's not gonna make it on time" Mako said as the group took a seat at a table for dinner

"I'm surprised she didn't come home after the war, I thought she'd want to take a break" Iroh said

"yeah" Bolin looked away clearing his throat "she's going to the wedding for sure though, I mean remember we talked about it at the award ceremony?"

Opal caught it looking over at the boy who was hiding his face "are you hiding something?"

"what? n-no"

"don't lie, I know when you're lying" Opal crossed her arms making everyone look over at Bolin

"ok ok, Korra was here not that long ago"

"what?" Kai's eyes widened

"how long ago?" Jinora asked

"like 3-4 months ago" He said "she was here only for the weekend and she said she was going to try to come"

"and you didn't say anything?!" Kai was upset

"Korra didn't want anyone to know"

"What?! why?"

"Because the last thing she wanted was Asami finding out" He said

"why was she here for such a small time?" Ginger asked

"well... she was here for business"

"business? what kind of business?" Opal asked

"you know that club we go to, Euphoria's?" he asked earning nods "well, Korra owns it... well, her parents owned it so she took it over but she doesn't claim the money it makes because she feels like it isn't hers, it's why she never mentioned it"

"WHAT?!" Everyone was surprised

"is that why when me and Korra got into it, I was the one always thrown out?" Iroh asked earning a nod

"is that why we always have a section and free drinks?" Kai asked

"you guys got free drinks?" Mako asked

"I thought that was cause Korra slept with the bartender or something" Jinora shrugged

"no, and I just found out the week after she left" Bolin confessed "she had her lawyer meet with me to make me her Business partner so I can help her while she was gone, and handle all her investments"

"investments?" Ginger asked

"Yea, her parents invested in companies and Korra ended up taking that over too" Bolin said "it's why she always had money to cover us and never asked for us to pay her back" he said

"wait, why didn't she want Asami to know?" Mako asked

"well, for 2 reasons, one being that one of the companies Korra's parents invested in was future industries, well, reading the paperwork and everything, Korra owns like 15% of the company, because her father was the one that sold the building to Hiroshi, of coarse Hiroshi couldn't afford it, so Tonraq made the man a deal"

"he had to own a percentage of the company" Opal pieced it together

"and before Korra left, she gave the company a grant, not just to keep the company a float but to keep Asami at ease since she was pregnant at the time"
