Chapter 20

"do you wanna do traditional?" Kai asked his soon to be wife

"yeah lets do it" Jinora smiled

"alright, cue the music" the director said "I'll play the part of the best man for now" she said. The music started. Kai walked down then the director followed behind. Bolin walked with Opal, Iroh walked with Ginger, Mako walked with Asami,  then Ikki walked be herself since she was the maid of honor. "cue the flower boy" The director said and Meelo came out faking that he was throwing flowers. Then Jinora came out with her father "great job, then you two do you stuff blah blah blah, cue the ring bearer" Jinora's little brother Rohan showed up with a small pillow to play the thing that holds the rings

"how was that" Kai asked the director

"that was really good actually, we just need the best man/woman to rehearse this" The director crossed her arms

"how hard can walking down an aisle be?" Kai said giving himself hope "she'll be fine"

"Alright, then, that wraps up rehearsal, good job, tomorrow is the dinner rehearsal than a day to yourselves and then the big day" the wedding directer said

"great, can we go get seafood" Jinora said

"yes please" Ginger said already over rehearsal

"Ugh, I'm going to start looking at the menu" Opal was tired

"I need a drink" Iroh said having Mako and Bolin agree

"I'll meet y'all over there, I have to go pick up Yasuko, my father alrighty over babysat" Asami said grabbing her bag

"I can get her" Mako said

"No, it's alright, I got it" Asami said leaving

She made it to Hiroshi's house. Asami walked up to the door and waited for Hiroshi to answer. The older man opened the door happy to see his daughter "how was the rehearsal?"

"it was good" Asami said as her father welcomed her in his home

"Hi Mommy!" A little girl waved to Asami while she was seating on the floor of the living room coloring on her book

"Hey sweet face" Asami walked to the girl going down to her level planting a kiss on the girl's cheek "How was you day with grandpa?"

"Good" Little Yasuko put her thumb up. 

Asami laughed at her action before sitting down on the couch with her father. Part of her didn't want to go out to dinner with her friends mainly because of the mention of Korra got to her. 

"so, did she show?" Hiroshi asked already knowing that's what she was thinking about

"she didn't" Asami informed him

"where's your friends?"

"they went out to dinner"

"are you going?"

"I don't feel like it"

"Asami, you can't let her not being around stop you, its been 4 years, get over it" Hiroshi said

"Yeah, you're right" Asami sighed

how could she get over it, get over Korra? She was her everything.

"I'm getting old, I can't handle the company anymore, and you know my deal" Hiroshi said "get married and take over the company of I'm selling it, I'm not having you handle the stress of being a mother and run an entire company on your own"

"Mako's helping me with Yasuko" Asami argued

"please, you  act like divorced parents, he only sees her on the weekends or when you're too busy at work, and she lives with you, if you weren't rich, you would've took him to court for child support" he crossed his arms
