hi guys this is caelan (author 1) i do most of the writing and whatnot umm i dont use ao3 but i read fire lily by etherealbeing once on there (creds to my bf for showing it to me any mha/bkdk fans should read it too shit had me sobbing) and i thought the notes feature of ao3 was really cool so this is just where i wanna put my notes for the chapters and the book as a whole and stuff also i think i might make a strawpage so people can ask questions about the book and stuff and put answers here soooooo ya
ps im only 15 and i have a habit of writing how i want so im 100% certain theres a lot of spelling/grammar problems or punctuation mistakes esp when it comes to dialogue. err not to be an attention whore but yall plss share ts with your friends :sob: :sob: i love to write its always been my dream and i adore this stupid book with my whole heart and itd mean so so much if it actually turned into something that other people like <3 but ofc no pressure
ALSO BIG HUGS TO HYPNOS FOR LIKE EVERYTHING. hes the co-author and helped with pretty much everything. this whole book idea started bc he asked me something and we turned it into a writing prompt competition (the prompt was betrayal) and we thought hey what if we wrote a book and now were here. yippe kayay!
one more thing is that stuff is bound to change over time. chase was originally from wisconsin but i changed that to oklahoma so i could put camp axewing in upper michigan (which was originally in tennessee) so itd be in an area i was more familiar with and could write easier. montgomerys motives also arent set in stone its just something i rushed to think of so i could get the first five chapters public so if anybody has any ideas for that PLEASEEEE share !!!!

chap 6 notes: tbh sorry that this chapter took me a bajillion and a half years to finish......writers block hit like a bus and i didnt have very many ideas but im getting there woohoo yay!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!1!!!!11!!!!!!!!!1!!1!! umm i dont have much else to say,, chap 7 is already like half done so thats yippie. also question to whoevers reading this silly book do yall like the short chapters??????? me personally im not a fan of long chapters bc i lose focus n it hurts my head but if yall dont like it lmk teehee
chap 7 notes: butterscotch how i love you. umm i figured that lucas needs some positivity in his life so now hes got a pet cat-rabbit thing. tbh writing lucas is way easier for me than chase bc lucas is semi based on myself as well as hes based off leo valdez from heroes of olympus (but we wont get into that autistic fueled yapfest) so soz if lucas's chapters feel longer or more interesting than chase's or vise versa or if they feel extremely similar/void of personality. im still learninghow to express more in writing and im also still learning about my own characters so hopefully theyll soon feel way more exciting.
chap 8 notes: I AM ON A ROLL. two chapters in two days idk wtf possessed me. guys lowkey never written any kind of fight scene before also ps light angst coming heh one thing about me is that i cannot let my characters be happy but you know ive eard people really l like angst and i definitely really like angst so yay ya yyay
