She got in the bus and stared out the window. At least she can move on.

She took out her phone seeing missed calls from everyone, including Asami. She couldn't help but think maybe the only reason Asami is reaching for her is because she was leaving, or because Asami wanted to keep her around, but not the way Korra wants to stay.

"She's not answering me" Asami was panicking "why is she leaving?" she asked Bolin

"I told her that you picked Mako"

"what?!"

"I told her that you and Mako are going to make it work because you're pregnant and that she has to let you go" Bolin said "Mako told me"

Asami was hit with realization, she has to make it work with Mako for the baby...right?

Asami went back to work as she felt defeated. she stared at her computer, zoned out as she thought about the first time she met Korra.

—month and some days ago—

"Asami, I am requesting you go out" Hiroshi said to her daughter who trapped herself in her office at work

"Dad, I have to get these in before tonight" Asami complained

"I can handle it, I freed up my time"

"What about your interviews"

"I already hired the person I wanted" He claimed "so no more interviews, now give me those papers, I expect you to go out with the heirs of the other companies"

Once every 3 months, the sons and daughters of CEOs would come together and go out for a night, whether it's to a fancy restaurant, bar or club, they y'all went out together.It'll help form alliances in the future.

"Fine" Asami rolled her eyes

"Good" he took her papers and sent her off home

After getting ready, Asami got in her limo and met everyone at Euphoria's, a club located in the heart of republic city. The club was a best club, many celebrities attended, it was hard to get in if you were a regular person, you had to know people to have a better chance to get in.

The owner was actually a private investor for companies, one of them including future industries.

Asami walked into the club that played loud music and had smiling people as they danced and mingled.

"Miss Sato, over here" she looked over seeing 3 people around her age calling her over to their section.

She walked over seeing her 'friends'

Sasha, 24, the daughter of the CEO of Cabbage corp.
Riko, 26, the son of the CEO of Automotive corp.
And Yuu, 25, the daughter of the CEO of Tech industry.

These were the companies the owner of Euphoria's was investing in. Yet not one person knew who the investor was. All they knew was that her name was Euphoria and she was a really busy woman.

"How are you all doing?" Asami asked politely as she sat with them.

"Pretty good" Riko said as he waved over for a bottle girl to put some drinks in.

"Same, I finally got to work with my father at the company" Sasha said

"Your father finally agreed to giving you the company?" Yuu asked

"He's going to give me a chance to prove myself, or he'll sell the company" Sasha said

"My father is going to try for a son, if not, he'll sell it to me" Yuu said "like I could offered to buy it"
