Finding yourself in a dark place,
Telling yourself, "It's just one of those days."
You struggle to find the strength to keep you up,
But those feelings, you just can't shove.
Your thoughts are a mystery to all,
While you're experiencing a deep never ending fall.
The world is oblivious to your pain,
While your light is going down an empty drain.
Is emptiness considered a feeling?
Where the exit is up on an unreachable ceiling?
Do others ever questions their purpose?
Is that something I'd dare confess?
I've found myself locking my feelings inside my body,
Moments where I shut down and open to nobody.
To the world I'm a smiling face,
If they only knew I've been roaming through a never ending maze.
