Hex Code
Hex codes are a six-digit alphanumeric representation used in digital design and web development to specify colors. They are widely used in CSS, HTML, graphic design, and other fields to define colors precisely.
Structure of a Hex Code
A hex code starts with a # symbol, followed by six characters that represent the levels of red, green, and blue (RGB) in a color. Each pair of characters is a hexadecimal number ranging from 00 to FF.
Format: #RRGGBB
RR (Red): Controls the red intensity (00 = no red, FF = full red). GG (Green): Controls the green intensity (00 = no green, FF = full green). BB (Blue): Controls the blue intensity (00 = no blue, FF = full blue).
Examples: White: #FFFFFF (Full red, green, and blue) Black: #000000 (No red, green, or blue) Red: #FF0000 (Full red, no green or blue) Green: #00FF00 (Full green, no red or blue) Blue: #0000FF (Full blue, no red or green) Gray: #808080 (Equal amounts of red, green, and blue)

Color names
Some programming languages and platforms (like HTML and CSS) have predefined color names.
Examples: Black: black Blue: skyblue Orange: darkorange
These names can be used in place of hex codes, though they are limited in variety.

Using a color picker tool
Color picker tools allow you to hover over an image or screen element and identify the color in different formats (e.g., hex, RGB).
Built-in Tools: Available in design software like Photoshop, Figma, and Canva. Browser Extensions: ColorZilla or Eye Dropper.
