Bloody Red Like Roses [RWBY]

Prologue

TW: Blood, murder, smoking, drugs, and graphic violence. These will all been seen throughout the entire series.

A girl named Ruby was thrown into the rubber room. Shortly after, she went to the corner to cough up blood. Nobody cared about her pain.

Shortly after, the institute staff walked in. Their motives weren't clear.

"Ms. Rose."

Ruby turned around to see the men. She was still sobbing from the wreck in her throat. Immediately, she was hesitant to get near them. They wanted a few seconds for a response, before calling her over again.

"Ruby Rose! Over here, now! Or we'll be forced to drug you again!"

Ruby gasped before trembling. The drug they gave her was horrible, sickening. She had had bad tasting medicine before, but this was way worse. The drug she was given earlier sent a sharp, continuous pain throughout her body. It made her scream out in pure agony at first, before she couldn't anymore. The pain hurt so badly. She couldn't speak for the entirety of the drug's effect. She didn't want to experience that again.

She walked over to the men, very intimidated by their presence. She obviously didn't trust them, but she had no choice, unless she wanted to go through that torture again. She waited for the men to speak.

"Ms. Rose, we need to ask a few questions about you. Tell us why you did it. You were always so kind, so why did you do it?"

Ruby knew actually what they were talking about. She started to dig deep into her skull to find where it all began...
