It's 4 am and I need to go to bed but my head's swimming and I need answers.

I walk back into my bedroom and set my things down by my desk. I am immediately hit with a strong sent of my flowery conditioner from the previous night. My dad's not home yet so I have a couple hours alone. I have a new drama to watch with snacks, so I plop down on my bed and notice a new blanket and a note. My hands run over the soft fabric, my eyes study the peaks of fur. It is a light cream color and has an intricate design imprinted on it. In the small corner it says something but I can't make out what it is. It must be from my mom because she often sends me gifts like this. It's weird though, considering I didn't notice it before.
I open the note and see fancy cursive scrawled across the page. This isn't my parent's or mom's handwriting!
Don't get cold princess.
Princess??? The black ink stares back at me, taunting me with answers.
I crumple up the note and lock my window. I pull out my school books in search of my sketch book. Shoot! I swear I brought it with me. I dig through my desk but it's gone. I guess I can't draw tonight.. unless, maybe I can drop into school before it closes! My drawing is due in a few days and I need to finish it, unfortunately I've been hit with drawers block. It's for a final project and if I can pull it off I can be in the gallery where my prices might get sold and I can be recruited. I pull on shorts and my favorite tank top with a black zip up. It will have to do because most of my clothes are in the wash right now, it's not like I'll run into anyone at 1 am though. I grab my phone and keys slipping them into my pockets, I also grab a hair tie and quickly throw my hair up into a bun leaving a couple strands down to cover my face. Tip toeing past my parent's room. I slowly make my way downstairs.
I flinch as the door creaks open. I peak back up to see if my parents are awake. All clear: I can hear them snoring. I slip on my sneakers and head out.
My phone pings and I slip it out of my pocket, Anonymous: Heading out?
I look at the number but it's anonymous.
I quickly type out
Scarlet: Who are you?
The little bubble pops up to show they are typing.
I don't have time for this. I give a small sigh of relief and let go of the breath I didn't realize I was holding when I finally step outside and close the door behind me. I slip into my car and start up the engine, luckily you can't hear it from inside. It sputters to life vibrating beneath me. I reach and turn on the seat warmers other wise it will be a long night. I slowly pull out and onto the road. The street lights are turned on giving out an eerie glow mixing in with the dark sky. Luckily I can see just enough to drive.

I watch through her window as she drops her bags

I watch through her window as she drops her bags. She rifles through her desk, looking for something, something that I have. I took her notebook, because tonight I want to play a game. I pull out my phone and locate her number. She's pulling on shorts and a hoodie.

She's gone from her room, heading into the hallway. I crouch down and make my way through the woods so that I have a good view of the inside of the house. I stop near the porch, being careful as to not trigger the lights. I hear her behind the door slipping on her shoes. The keys rattle in the lock a I send her a text. Heading out? She squints into the darkness, her eyes searching for me. She types on her phone, slips it into her pocket and leaves.

She would definitely not survive in a horror movie.

She has no survival instincts. Someone is watching you and your first move is to go out into the dark night, alone. And might I remind you no one knows she's out here.
It would be so easy just to take her off these steps right now. But I can't, I have to wait.

After all the game is the best part.

When I pull into the school, the parking lot is vacant

When I pull into the school, the parking lot is vacant. I have a key luckily, my bio teacher gave it to me so I could drop by if I ever needed something.
I park the car and pull my sweater closer around me. Even though I'm not really doing anything wrong, I still feel like a thief in the night.
I twist my key in the lock and the door swings open, I look around. Everything looks the same but the darkness taints it. Closing the door behind me I keep my back to the wall as I creep down the hallway.
Anonymous: Breaking into school princess?
My breath hitches and I stare into the darkness looking for anyone. My head swivels making sure no one's peering around the corner at me like some horror movie.
I go to contacts and change their name to Stalker.
I continue down until I find my classroom, I turn the key and see my notebook on the desk. I grab it and go to turn and then I see him. I only see glimpses of his face and turn to run.

She turns to run, but she's too predictable and I know where she will try to hide. We will have to work on that Princess. I swiftly turn the other way and duck under the side door. I chuckle to myself as I hear her ankles clash against the cold tile floors. Her chain ankle bracket softly jingling like a soothing lullaby. Turning the corner I see her, our eyes lock and she starts to back up. A smirk touches my lips.
