Commotion filled the bridge of Alluveterre. The vast expanse of the humid forest was closing all around them. It at least felt like it was. The whole crowd of Sophie's friends (including their parents) gathered around the Black Swan's hideout, making it very noticeable.
"Here, here!" Finally, a familiar voice in the crowd, demanding silence. Mr. Forkle raised his hands. Standing with the rest of the Black Swan's collective, Mr. Forkle told them the new plan.
"Kids, we're gonna take down the Neverseen. But, we're going to need Keefe. Sophie, you think you can wake him up in a day or two?"
"No! How will I anyway?!" Sophie exclaimed, louder than she wanted to.
"You and the Sencen boy have a connection. For sure. Figure it out."
Same day : Splendor Planes : 11:00 a.m.
Keefe groaned in bed. His thoughts were shadowed with a dark cloud. It was filled with images and glimpses of when he was dared by his bodyguard to admit his true feelings to Sophie. But, he'd never done it. Instead, Sophie had sent him a love letter.
'Dear Keefe,
I know that was a bad start and you would probably be laughing so hard your chest hurt, but, I took a whole 2 hours to think of that and right it down so...\
Anyways, I'm writing this letter because I couldn't fin the courage to tell you this directly. Iggy's chewing my toenails right now and I hate him. Biana's bugging everyone a lot to confess their true love and I hate her. Fitz is not bugging me or talking to me or even looking at me so I hate him. All the others think whatever happened is my fault and I and hate them. My parents are looking at me like I'll up and run away again so I hate them. In conclusion, your the only one I don't hate. Quite the opposite actually, I love you.
So, after that sappy note, I will leave you to do your operation and get loads better! Then, I can hug and kis- I mean warm embrace you as much as I want to! Yay!!!

Keefe didn't know what to feel. Excited and elated! Yay! Sophie might be my girl-friend. Sad. Maybe she just picked me because Fitz was mad at her.
Keefe got out of bed to face darkness. It was 12. Midnight. Oooh! Scary ghosts!
He walked around the huge estate, trying to find a clock. What time was it? Was it really 12? Then he heard a clattering. He whipped around. "Whose there?" Nobody answered. Keefe flexed his muscles. "You can't stop me."
"That just makes you more impressive." Sophie emerged from the darkness. She was wearing her spy suit and bracelet with flashing turquoise eyes.
"Thank... you." Keefe stuttered. Sophie was wearing heavy make-up and her blonde hair lying down in two ponies. Her skin was a dazzling white, with glitter in the shape of stars. Near her eye, there was a beautiful flower tattoo shining with stars. Her necklace stood out in her whole outfit.
It was an amethyst, with a shining star inside it. It was literally dazzling. She was so entrancing...

14th November 2024 : The castle at Lumenaria : 2:00 p.m.
Sophie walked to the castle, dragging the awestruck Keefe with her. He was so absorbed in her beauty that he just wanted to follow her around. Sophie walked up the stairs and made sure the staring boy didn't trip. This clone-Sophie didn't really Have a crush on the Sencen boy. She was just there to get the whole 'Sophie is my leader' gang confused.
So, dropping Keefe in the cage, she walked away. "No wait!" Keefe called. She just kept walking.
