But then there was a sound like ice cracking. Anova hid behind an unknown man.
"Oh, no! "What is it?" he exclaimed.
— What was that?" - what is it? "What is it?" she asked.
"Don't worry, you're safe as long as you follow me," he said. Then I heard footsteps. Four muffled footsteps echoed through the room, deafening and ominous.
Everything began to darken, and a few black drops of an unknown liquid fell from the top of the stairs.
"Who or what is it?" - what is it? "What is it?" she asked.
"There is no time to explain now," he said.
But then a huge amount of this dark liquid poured out from above, and a large wave crashed down on them. The unknown man pushed Anova away, and she fell into the darkness. He said:
- Find it and remember, don't let fear rule you!
Anova woke up in her bed, breathing heavily. She glanced at her watch, which read 9:30.
"Ah, it's just a dream," she said with relief. "How strange it is to have such dreams. Well, it's time to get up.
Anova woke up early, the sun was already shining outside the window. She dressed and left the room. Breakfast was waiting for her in the kitchen: a couple of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce leaves, and some onions. She put it all on a chopping board and sliced it into a salad.
After eating, Anova wondered what she should do. Then she remembered that she hadn't watered her plants in a long time. She went into the pantry, got a watering can, filled it at the sink, and went to the conservatory. There, she took a deep breath, smiled, and said, " Ha, only here can I feel at ease."
Anova went to the right-hand shelf, where daisies and snowdrops stood, and began watering them. While she was engaged in this task, she lost track of time, but suddenly a grinding sound came from the rose bushes, which greatly alarmed her. Pausing, she slowly walked to the exit of the greenhouse, put the watering can on the floor, and began to look for a means of self-defense. Without taking her eyes off the source of the sound, she groped for the broom and grabbed it with both hands, slowly approaching, shaking with fear.
When she was about a meter away from the bushes, Moya jumped out of them with a rose in his mouth.
Anova: "Oh, Monica, it's you! You scared me."
Monologue: "Meow".
Anova: "Why do you need a rose? Oh, probably for Claire."
Maurice jumped on a shelf of flowers and begged to go outside.
Anova: "Yeah, now."
Anova went to the window, opened it, and Moira jumped out. Anova waved after him, and Moya looked at her, then started running again. Anova closed the window and, having finished watering the plants, sat down on a chair and thought about what else to do.
"after a while"
Anova had completed all her tasks and didn't know what to do. Then she came up with the idea of taking a walk in the woods. When she stepped outside, the sun was already sinking below the horizon, and she headed toward the woods.
As she strolled through the forest, she became more and more fascinated by its beauty and the calmness that prevailed at this hour of the evening. But suddenly, as she looked up at the tree, she saw a perfectly carved cross on its bark. At that moment, she heard the crunch of snow behind her and turned around. A few meters away from her stood a man dressed in ragged rags. He looked as if he had spent several days in the woods: his right leg was injured and he was limping, and there were signs of wounds all over his body. His face was hidden from her as he looked down. He was slowly approaching Anova, and she already wanted to help him.
