Chapter 14

"Can you even afford a place right now?"

"Yeah, I have money saved to the side" Korra said

"So what's the plan?"

"Well, I was actually looking at apartments that are available, I was thinking somewhere close to your brother so you won't feel far from him" Korra gave him a smile

"Wait what?" He was catching on to what Korra was saying "like me living with you?"

"Yes" she said "I'm going to need a roommate"

"You want me to be your roommate?" He asked

"Yes, I don't want you to be living in my car" Korra raised a brow

"Korra, I can't, I'll figure it out. I owe you so much already letting me stay at the motel with you and feeding me, I just can't." Bolin was getting emotional

"Bo, I'm being serious" she placed her hand on his shoulder "we'll be fine"

She was able to get an apartment for her aand Bolin within a week. 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom, a small living room and a small kitchen, they also had laundry mat across the street and the street parking was free.

It was move in day. The two were unpacking, happy with their new place.

"oh, Bolin here" she handed him a box "it just came in today"

He opened the box finding a phone "Korra.."

"It's a new number so make sure you let your friends and your brother know" she said

"I can't take this, I don't have a way to pay you back" Bolin said

"Hey, I never asked for you to pay me back" Korra smiled "you're my best friend, I need to make sure you're ok"

"But, this all cost money, and you're putting so much I have nothing to give"

"Bo, don't worry about the money, I have it" Korra said

Bolin put the phone down on the table and took Korra into his arms "thank you" he cried "I don't know how I could ever repay you" he sobbed

Korra's heart ached as the boy cried.

"Thank you so much"

"Don't thank me Bo, you deserve to have a room and a phone" She said

"I'll make it up, I swear" he said "I'll cook and clean everyday, I'll make sure you'll wake up to breakfast and come home to dinner." He said

"Well, you need to learn how to cook" she laughed

"I still remember some of the recipes you taught me awhile back" he smiled

Korra smiled at the boy happily.

Korra woke up after hearing her alarm go off. She groaned and reached over to turn it off. She placed her hand on her head and winced in pain. "What the fuck happened?" She barely remembered anything. She realized she was only in a sports bra and boxers. She also noticed her arms were still covered in phone numbers.
