"Okay guys that ends our meeting for today, Kelsey could you meet me in my office please?"

"That's Ms Cummings to you, fine thank you. Whats this about? I have a meeting to attend at 4:45 pm."

"Okay, let me make this quick, I really appreciate how you've been working hard these few months. You have completed more edits that anyone on this station, you dabbled in management and your pointers for improvement was approved by the station."

He paused, waiting for him to continue I realized that he was possibly done talking.

"Was that why you called me in here? No promotion? No raise income just soso dat?"

"Yes I can reach out to the producers to see if budget is enough to add to your salary. As soon as a position becomes available in your trained scope you will be selected. I mean that promotion process could go faster if..." he reached out to touch my face.

I got up and bolted for the door.

"Ms. Cummings wait..."
