Eddie sits on his couch, trying to distract himself with some TV after another not so great call with Chris. Eddie doesn't know if he's just trying to convince himself that something good came of it, but he swears he spoke more this time...

His phone buzzes and he picks it up. Instagram message notification. On his home screen, he can only see part of the message and who it's from.

Casey

Hey, I've been debating sending this for about a week, but I thought-

He opens his phone. First, he checks out her page and it seems... not like a bot account, so he looks at the rest of the message.

Casey

Hey, I've been debating sending this for about a week, but I thought you deserved for someone to tell you. I was at a bar the other night, and I think your boyfriend was flirting with me...

Eddie

My boyfriend?

It's a picture of Buck's Instagram. Eddie didn't realize until now how much he posted pictures of the two of them, or at least the two of them and some other people. At the fire house, or at a barbeque, or some other event that they had insisted on going to together.

Casey

I swear I didn't know. He told me he and his boyfriend had broken up. I saw his Instagram and assumed he just hadn't deleted the pictures yet, but then I saw you walk up to him and everything and I felt like a complete idiot. I probably should have messaged you sooner, and I'm sorry I didn't.

Eddie has the opportunity to do something insanely funny, and he needs a good laugh.

I can't believe he did this to me again

I should have never trusted him again in the first place

Eddie feels a little bad for lying, but it would have been weirder to tell the truth. This girl would have felt bad, and Eddie would have to do more explaining than he's like. He could leave it there, or he could have more fun with it... He decides to open up his texts.
