and the town goes quiet,

no matter where we stand.

The day that our two worlds see
will be one of rejoice.
To relive the memories,
to weep again, but not in sorrow
for we would've reunited.

Though your passing was
a long while ago, buried in the past
I won't forget you;
it haunts and weakens me
thinking about the pain we felt
on that day, when the reaper called.

It feels as if time was taken for granted,
that you should've had more
and that it should've been valued like gold,
but my younger self was carefree about minutes.

Even if we could indulge in it once more,
it would be like grasping sand grains slipping away.

You are missed so dearly,
yet it feels selfish to wish you were here.
Nonetheless, it's comforting to be aware
such a kindhearted man is no longer pained.

The month of November was considered the month of rest for Keztana. The clouds thin a bit, and everybody seems much more content. It was tranquil, almost dreamlike, especially considering the amounts of damage from October's Overture. Most of the city spent this month with close ones.
