Chapter 15

Bolin stayed quiet just listening to Korra

"Fuck Bolin, you think I wanted any of this?" Korra voice softened "I never planned to stay, I was just supposed to visit for a week and leave again. I never planned on getting a job here, I never planned on getting an apartment, I never planned to actually find someone that I could connect with" she said "I never planned to fall in love Bo" Bolin looked up at his friend at the last part "yes I said it, I'm in love with Asami...isn't that what you wanted for me?"

'More than anything' he thought "I'm sorry" Bolin looked down at himself he wanted to cry but he had to hold it back, now was not the time "So what's going to happen now?"

Korra didn't even know the answer to that. She looked over to Asami and place her hand onto hers "the decision's yours, and I'm not asking for an answer now. I'll wait, but I can't wait forever" Korra told her

Asami's heart ached she didn't know what she wanted. "I am going to talk to Mako" she said "he deserves to know the truth, then maybe from there I'll have an answer" Asami said looking away. she felt Korra's hand tightened hers in reassurance

"Does anyone know about the two of you?" Bolin asked

"No.." Asami said then they both looked at Korra

"Kai knows"

"You told Kai but not me?!"

"Hey you wanted to date Opal" she pointed at the boy

Asami went back to her estate to get ready for work. She was thinking about how she would bring up the situation to Mako.

She didn't feel like going to work but she had to since her father was going out for a meeting so she had to watch the company.

Asami got ready and left. She parked in her spot seeing Korra's car next to her. She walked into the company finding Kai talking to Zhu Li. "Hey Kai"

"Oh Asami, hey" he smiled

"What are you doing here?"

"Korra left her car at my place so I dropped it off with Jinora so she doesn't have to take the bus to get it after work"

"That's kind of you, and where's Jinora?"

"Oh, she's in my car waiting for me" he said

On cue, Hiroshi walked in with well dressed Korra walking behind him. "I'll be back before 3 hopefully" he said as he was grabbing the last papers from Zhu Li

"Oh, alright" she liked seeing Korra in an all black suit, there was just something about a well dressed Korra, Asami found sexy, especially in her security uniform.

"Hey Kor" Kai tossed her the keys "I'll see yall around" he then left

Korra looked at Asami finding the woman checking her out. Korra raised a brow and smirked at the sight. Asami made eye contact and turned bright red when she was caught.

"Alright, let's get going" Hiroshi said walking away

"Ms. Sato" Korra bowed her head then gave her a wink before leaving

Asami watched as her father and Korra left the building. She opened the car door for him letting him in and then she followed in.

Asami let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

The rest of the day she kept herself stuck in the office.

"Ms Sato, Mako's here to see you" She heard Zhu Li on the speaker phone
