Part 47 A same story

Start from the beginning

"It all started when I came to Milan with my aunt," you began. "It was supposed to be a simple trip, a chance to explore the city and enjoy the beauty of it all. I didn't know... I didn't expect any of this."

She leaned forward slightly, her expression intent but patient, waiting for you to continue.

"On the first day, I met Jake and Sunoo," you said, your lips curling into a small, bittersweet smile. "It was at a high end store. I accidentally bumped into Jake, as I was busy looking at the insides. Jake was attractive...a flirt, I apologized even though it wasn't only my fault but he asked me to help him choosing jackets for him. Sunoo, on the other hand, was too friendly and we clicked at one go."

You sighed, the memory vivid in your mind. "We ended up talking for hours on the call, and they even offered to show me around. They were kind and funny, and I thought... I thought it was just a friendly encounter."

You glanced at the girl, who gave a slight nod, encouraging you to continue.

"Then, on the second day, I met Jungwon. I was sitting alone at the cafe and he came up to my table as there were no other place for him and well, we had a casual conversation and he bought me a smoothie as a thank you gift. I thought it was such a coincidence to meet another stranger who seemed so genuine."

Your voice grew softer. "On the third day, Sunoo invited me to a garden he said was his favorite spot in the city. It was beautiful, peaceful. We spent the afternoon talking about everything and nothing. He made me laugh so much... I didn't realize how quickly I was growing attached."

A lump formed in your throat as you continued. "On the fourth day, I went to a club with my friend, and that's where I met Jay. He was different from the others-confident, sharp, but in an intimidating way. We ended up talking and dancing at the spot for hours, and... he made me feel seen, like I wasn't just another tourist in the crowd."

You paused, blinking your eyes as the emotions threatened to overwhelm you. "Then, on the fifth day, I met Heeseung at a museum. He was with Jake, and they introduced me to each other. He was so... magnetic. I couldn't look away. We spent the day wandering through the exhibits, and I remember thinking how easy it was to be around him, how natural it felt."

You took a shaky breath. "On the same day at night, I met Niki. He was alone on the streets, looking lost in his thoughts. I couldn't just walk by when he asked me to stay, so I stayed with him. We talked for hours, and I felt this connection, this understanding. But then, when Heeseung and Jay came to pick him up, I realized... he was friends with them too."

At this, the girl let out a sharp breath, muttering under her breath, "Niki..." Her tone carried a mix of frustration and something else you couldn't place.

You blinked at her but didn't pause for long. "On the seventh day, everything clicked. My aunt and I were riding a train, and I saw them-all of them-in the same compartment. That's when I realized they all knew each other. Even Jungwon."

Your voice cracked as you reached the next part. "That night, I kissed Sunghoon." Tears spilled down your cheeks, and you buried your face in your hands. "I don't even know why. It just... happened. And it felt right, but also so, so wrong."

The girl moved closer, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. "Take your time," she said softly.

You nodded, trying to steady your breathing. After a few moments, you continued. "After that, everything spiraled. I started spending more time with each of them. They were all so... different but amazing in their own ways. And I got closer to them-closer than I should have."

"And now..." Your voice was barely above a whisper. "I think I might be falling for all of them. But it's so confusing, and it feels so wrong. Like I'm betraying them or myself. I don't even know how this happened."
