"Good morning Logopolis, we hope you had a good night's sleep."

"Oh come on Linda, you know that Logopolis never sleeps."

"That is true Rob. With how many lights there are downtown, I'd be surprised to hear that anyone can sleep. Haha."

A white, furry hand picks up the remote, and turns off the TV. The snow leopard gets up from his chair as someone calls his name. "Charlie." The snow leopard's wife. Charlie heads over to her, where she gives him his tie. "There you go. You have to make sure your new boss is impressed."

Charlie chuckles. "Yes, yes, I know."

His wife turns around, looking at boxes. "There's so much to unpack. We went from a small town to the largest city in Vasnia."

"And the third largest city in the world." Charlie jumped in. His wife brushed it off. "You think this new opportunity is good for the kids?"

Charlie darted his eyes to the left, then back at his wife. "Yeah. When they grow up, they'll have great job opportunities. Plus, there's great schools here, and they could make new friends. It would be easy for Cyndi and Grace. Cyndi is very energetic, and Grace is following her footsteps."

"And what about Lyndon?"

"He'll be fine."

"He hasn't spoken much since we've moved here. I'm worried about him."

"He'll be fine, Liz. It... may be harder for him, but Cyndi will help him out. Trust me, everything will be fine."

Liz sighs. "I guess you're right." Liz takes out the alarm clock for a box, puts it on the nightstand, and plugs it in. "What time is it?"

Charlie looks at his watch. "7:26 AM."

Liz suddenly looks at Charlie. "7:26!?"

Charlie quickly straightens his shirt. "Yep! Have to drop off the kids at school! Don't want them to be late for the first day of school!"

The first day of school in a new city is never easy. All the friends left behind in the old place, all the old memories of it, it's hard to leave them behind. In an elementary school classroom, two snow leopard cubs stand up front. One eager to get to know everyone, and the other looking down to the ground, his hands behind his back. The female snow leopard speaks up.

"Hello!" She says politely, but loudly. "My name is Cynthia Dessener, but everyone calls me Cyndi! And this..." She puts her hand on the male snow leopard's head. "Is my twin brother!

Cyndi's brother looks at the class nervously. He speaks out, his voice small. "H-hi... M-my name is... L-L-L-Lyndon Desse... Dessener..."

Cyndi spoke up again. "We're from a small town called Fenton! We hope to get along and that we could all be friends!"

The two of them went to their seats. At recess, all the students played, except Lyndon. He sat alone. He saw his sister get along so easily with the other students. She asked to play with them and they let her, while Lyndon was afraid to ask. He dug his face in his arms. So many people to talk to, and yet, they weren't his friends. He muttered to himself. "I want to go home..."

"Hey."

Lyndon looked up. A fox stood in front of him. He looked down on Lyndon. "Wanna play?" He asks. Lyndon looked at him. He wants to say yes, but he's too scared. When the fox saw that he wasn't saying anything, he sat down in front of Lyndon. "My name is Phillip. What's your name?

"Lyndon..."

"Lyndon. I could call you Lyn! Lyn sounds like a fun nickname for you."

Lyndon didn't say anything, though he did let out a little chuckle. Phillip was babbling on, and Lyndon couldn't help but smile.

"Come on!" Phillip grabs Lyndon's arm and pulls him to a hopscotch court. They started playing hopscotch, then they played on the monkey bars. The two were having a lot of fun. From that day forward, Phillip would become Lyndon's best friend.

As the two grew up over the school year, they became more and more close. Lyndon would be introduced to Phillip's group of friends, and he fit in perfectly. He was one of the boys. Adjusting to the change was hard, but now, it looked like it would be easier.
