But Jun-Myeon was the exact opposite. He didn't care for his reputation and lived his life as he saw fit. Even now after the trial, he not only broke the court order by revealing the two omegas' names but also left for the mansion on the outskirts of Incheon to celebrate.
His family's reputation that was crafted over the years was now chipping away all due to his carelessness. A mere lowborn omega has done something others failed to do for ages.
Only Jun-Myeon would know how many omegas he invited and how many PR struggles this was going to bring. Ji-hoon would be damned if there was any more trouble. Not to mention Kim Namjoon, one of his biggest and most important investors Jun-Myeon had brought.
Now there was one more withdrawal, fearing their reputation for being associated with the Choi businesses. Ji-hoon's fury knew no bounds. His fist clenched and unclenched and his jaw tightened. It was as if his son lived to bring shame to his family, but his hatred was more toward the omegas who dared to testify against him.
The moment the car came to a halt in front of the grand mansion, Ji-hoon barely waited for the driver to get out and open the door for him before getting out himself. The security scrambled to greet him, which he ignored.
The caretaker of the house rushed toward him with wide eyes. "Mr. Choi." He bowed deeply.
"Where is my son?"
"S-Sir..." He nervously looked toward the direction of the upstairs bedroom.
When Ji-hoon tried to storm toward the bedroom upstairs, the caretaker tried to stop him. "Sir... Young master has company." He scratched his neck nervously.
"Tell me something new."
He walked past him, climbing the stairs as fast as his body allowed. Reaching the bedroom door, he knocked continuously until he head a significant curse, a yell and footsteps hurrying toward him.
The door flew open. "What the fuck do you want?" Jun-Myeon's expression changed when he saw who it was. "Dad? What are you doing here?"
Ji-hoon ignored his state of indecency, dressed in only his robe and holding it together to hide his nakedness. The stench coming from inside told him more than he should know. He pushed his son aside and stormed inside, nose scrunching and distaste filling his face when he saw who it was.
"What the hell!" Jun-Myeon came to him. "What are you doing?"
"What. Are. You. Doing?" he emphasized each word, glaring at his son.
"What?" Jun-Myeon scoffed in disbelief.
"I told you to let me handle this but you have to go and fuck it up once again. What were you thinking?!" Veins bulged across his forehead and his face turned red with fury.
"Dad, it's over, isn't it?" Jun-Myeon chuckled. "I'm out."
But Ji-hoon's anger only went up a notch. "We lost an investor today and this is how you celebrate? With her out of all people?"
Jun-Myeon shrugged, tying his robe tighter while Na-Ra pulled the sheets high up her chin with an uncomfortable expression. He went to pour himself another drink.
"Namjoon would have left eventually." He took a gulp. "It's not like he's the only person out there. Besides, what's wrong with her? She's a catch."
Ji-hoon sneered, "Do you even know how many billions we lost? Another investor backed off at the critical stage of the project. What are you going to do now?"
Jun-Myeon scoffed. "Chill, dad. We will figure out something. The project is ours, isn't it?"
Ji-hoon strode toward him, reaching him in six steps, then he lifted a hand to slap him across the face. The sound echoed across the room, causing the glass to slip from Jun-Myeon's hand. Na-Ra jumped in shock, mouth parting in a surprised gasp.
"You have destroyed years of hard work due to your recklessness." His voice rose and eyes spat molten lava. "I fucking told you to stay out of trouble and lay low until things are sorted out. You had one job, Jun-Myeon!"
"Dad..." He tried and Ji-hoon slapped him once again, watching a bead of blood forming on his lower lip.
"You ruined everything. I'm ashamed of you."
"Dad." Jun-Myeon clenched his jaw.
"You're removed from all the positions of the company effective immediately," he hissed. "I'm freezing your funds until further notice."
"What?" Jun-Myeon's face contorted with shock. Disbelief flooded his face. "Y-You can't do that."
"Watch me," Ji-hoon growled. "You've done nothing but tarnish our family name and you proved that you can't handle a slightest responsibility without destroying everything around you. I won't let you ruin our family legacy." He waved an angry finger in front of him.
Jun-Myeon's hands shook and face twisted with anger. His fists clenched at his sides. "I didn't ruin anything. I'm a Choi and I don't need your permission to enjoy my life."
Ji-hoon lips curled with distaste. "Get your act together. Or I'll disown you."
Jun-Myeon's eyes narrowed at him before he looked away in anger.
"You don't deserve to carry the Choi family name if you can't handle two low lives," he snapped. "Consider this your final chance to prove that you can be worthy to inherit this family's fortune."
With that, he turned around and left without another look, leaving his son stunned to silence.

Jun-Myeon grabbed the alcohol bottle, draining a considerable amount and ignoring the burn as he watched the door slam shut. The sting on his cheek hurt less than how much it hurt his pride.
He stood there, humiliation searing through him as Na-Ra watched him silently. His fist clenched around the neck of the bottle. The shame of being slapped was one thing but the threat of disinheritance was another.
That fucking omega.
Jungkook's icy glare as he met his eyes challengingly surfaced in his mind. A feisty, doe-eyed nobody who didn't know his place. The source of all his problems.
The purebred alpha downed another gulp of alcohol to numb some of his frustration but failed to cool the rage simmering under his skin. He was being ridiculed while the low life celebrated this victory somewhere. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
"I'm going to shatter his perfect little illusion," he growled. "I'm going to strip his life to nothing but dust and ruins." He took another gulp.
As he seethed, he wanted Jungkook to experience everything he had felt. To see the look of shame and humiliation on the omega's face as his world fell apart around him.
"I'll ruin him," he vowed, a dark resolve settling over him. "And I'll make it unforgivable."
"You will," Na-Ra chimed in. "I'll help."
Jun-Myeon scoffed, setting the bottle down. He was a Choi. One way or another, he will show Jungkook why he should have never crossed a Choi. And by the end he'd have had his revenge and his redemption.
"Ready for another round?"
Na-Ra chuckled. "Always."
