Chapter 35

ME: "Anything before 12 on the weekends in early."

CORDARIUS: "Oh my bad, my bad, but I was callin to see if you had any plans today."

I bit down on my bottom lip, thinking.

ME: "No, I don't think I do, why? wassup?"

CORDARIUS: "Chill with me today."

I bit down on my bottom lip, deciding if I should or not.

ME: "Where??"

CORDARIUS: "Just get dressed and I'll pick you in ten minutes."

Before I could even speak, he hung up the phone, leaving me with my thoughts.

I sat there for a second, thinking about where he could possibly be taking me. I stood up from the bed and walked over to my closet looking for something to wear.

Marcus P.O.V.

"What time you getting off today baby?" I pulled my shirt over my head, as mama stood in the doorway, watching me. "6:30, I would stay to 8 like I always do, but Ashley's coming over to tutor me later."

She frowned. "Who's Ashley??" I sighed, realizing I had never told her about another girl tutoring me.

"My new tutor mama, and she'll be here at 7."

"What happened to your other little friend? Aliyah?" I sighed, hating when she would bring her up.

"She's not tutoring me anymore mama, so I got somebody else." "Mmm." She started. "And here I was, thinking you had a genuine like for this girl."

I sighed. "I did like her mama." She lifted a brow.

"Did? As in past tense?" I sighed again, as I slipped on my Jordans. "Ion wanna be late, so ima go."

I grabbed my car keys off the dresser and made my way over to the door.

"Before you go." She said, standing up off of the doorframe. "I need to borrow some money, Im short on the water bill, but I'll give it back to you when I get paid."

I sighed. "You know you don't gotta pay me back mama, but look in my sock drawer, there's some money in there." She smacked her lips together.

"So you ain't gunna get it out for me?" I chuckled, shaking my head. "You can get it out, I don't care, and stop asking me if you can borrow money, you should know you don't gotta ask me, just take it." She slightly smiled.

"...Alright, when do you get paid again?"

I scratched the back of my head, thinking. "Next week I think."

She nodded. "Alright, have a good day baby." She kissed my forehead, knowing I hated it when she did that, but I decided not to say anything this time.

"Bye mama."

Simone P.O.V.

"What time you coming home tonight?" I pulled my jeans up over my ass as August watched me.

"Im not sure yet, but I'll be back early enough...why?" I reached into my drawer, pulling out my tank top.

"I thought we should go out and celebrate." I smirked. "Celebrate what?"

"The new baby, we ain't never had a chance to really let it sink in." My smirk spread a little, as I pulled my shirt over my head.

"True, what did you have in mind?'

"Dinner at our favorite restuarant, and the rest of the night can be up to you." I slowly nodded.

"And what about Aliyah? She'll be the only one home for the night." He nodded. "Tell her to invite one of her friends over, but no boys." I chuckled.
