It has been 2 weeks since the emergency alarms were turned on over the entirety of Texas. They were warning us about something. I noted everything.
The sound of the EAS alarms comes in....
This is the Department of Security of the United States.

Every citizen is required to listen to the instructions passed on by the military of USA coming up next. Previous week, the department of biotechnology reported the outbreak of a new type of  variant of a necrosis virus, termed as Hemovexus-NR Strain - 98, or just the Hemovex virus. The population of the outbreak fell immediately. Effects may be - increase in hostility and aggression towards other humans, rapid dehydration, confusion, increased hunger, rapid decomposition of the skin due to stoppage of release of new cells, and partial or complete loss of cognitive functions. If anyone is showing such symptoms in your locality, immediately FLEE. The cure to such virus has been suspected to be very difficult. The invasion has reached the states of Texas, Alaska, Washington D.C, Florida, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. Rest states have fallen and the governments in the region have stopped working. The DOS is no longer focused on fighting the invasion, but protecting the citizens. To prevent yourself or your loved ones from getting infected, follow the instructions very carefully.

Avoid getting out as long as possible. Ensure the food and water supplies. Minimize the electrical usage as your nearby power plants may have stopped working. If anyone near your locality has shown above symptoms stay away from them. Use motion detectors to identify any sort of natural or unnatural threat. Turn off all kinds of devices and always keep a radio with you, as the government will now use special radio frequencies to air news that may be important to you and your locality. Always keep a weapon with you. The government has temporarily suspended limited arms act as a need for immediate weapon up for protection, however, you are prohibited to use the guns against unarmed humans.

Scientists and researchers from all over the world are continuously working on the new virus and finding its cure. The scientist termed this virus as the famous scenario from the fiction, 'the zombie virus'.

More details will be given out to you sooner. Stay safe and always remember, that US government will always keep its citizen protected.

Funny, the last line of the entire thing was a lie. The population of Texas was quickly infected, withing 48 hours of the message. Moreover, the government set up camps to rescue people were also invaded by these zombies. This is a perfect zombie apocalypse scenario! Since I live alone, I have nothing to care about except my own life. Government has aired nothing. These zombies, however, are a bit different. They are more powerful, more sneaky and rather smarter than the ones we see in the movies. Anyways, that's all for today!

Dear Diary

I am writing this after an enormous amount of time. Phew, the things here got tough. The US government has fallen. Their military has been infected. The population was halved in less than a month. I am probably a few survivors present in the Texas. These strange creatures listen to everything and respond to everything in the environment. It is hard for me to stay protected from them for a long time now as my ammunition is also running out. The food and water is nearly extinct and don't even get me started about electricity it has been gone for about a long time even though my radio is not working now as I can't find new batteries.
I have heard survivors are creating a new group and organisations with the rest of the other survivors as a sort of settlement in the areas that have not been infected yet. Heh, I believe that those areas are more susceptible to the danger, as the people don't know how to remain quiet.
I cannot stay alone anymore and I don't think I have much time left. These zombies are growing more powerful, smarter and by size everyday.
