~ Chapter Seven~

~ Second Prince to the Throne ~

The front door slowly opens, and Geno can hear somebody walking in and possibly looking around.

Before Geno can say something to get himself saved, a voice next to him gives him a firm command.

"Numb"

Geno feels his muscles lighten, he can't move. He can't speak. Now truly hes absolutely out of control. He can't let the person know that he's here, he can't warn them about the danger waiting in the shadows.

He hears the door to the kitchen open. The person walks in. Geno immediately moves inside the Cristal, he tries his best to take the person's attention.

The person walks in, it's not even an adult yet, and he carries a dagger,

"Uh excuse me?... Sir?"
The young man tries to get a response from Geno's numb body.

As Geno stares at him, he realizes it's nobody else than Prince Papyrus, Reaper's younger brother.

Geno went to panic, from the few times he got a look at Papyrus, he was a sweet guy. And the fact he could witness Reaper hurting his own brother is terrifying. He can't let innocent people get hurt...

He looks at how the younger prince stares at his partly dead body in horror. Geno doesn't know if his body will be able to function properly, but he is sure that he is far from alive. But not dead either way.

Geno doesn't blame Papyrus for being all shocked seeing Geno's body so... Dead-like? Nevermind.

Geno tries to tell Papyrus something, at least that he should run.

"Go! Run! Leave! Run! Run!... God... Go!"
But Papyrus obviously doesn't hear him, but he notices those weird noises from the crystal and tries to get closer to understand. That is his chance.

"Run! Its dangerous! Leave!"
But his yells go unheard. Then before Papyrus is close enough to hear what Geno has to say, a voice Echos through the room.

"They... Call it 'Puppet spell'... How interesting... I find it in one book about dark magic. It was forbidden a very long time ago."
Reaper emarges from the shadows. And Papyrus turns to face him.

"Brother... What have you done?"
Papyrus seems to be shacking, but gripping the dagger tightly.

Geno looks around, he tryes to find any way to help Papyrus. But he is helpless.

"I Killed him... I didn't mean to... But... Things happen right? And... This spell, allowed me to keep him at least somewhat alive"
Said Reaper and gets closer towards Papyrus, Geno wants to let the prince know that he is alive and can help him... Or can he? The only thing he can now is to make Papyrus leave as fast as possible, hoping Reaper wont have the energy to chase him down.

Geno dont even hears the rest of their talk. He tries hard to think of a way to help Papyrus. He hates it... He cant do anithing. He cant... He cant save him.

"Ha! You think those things work on me? Let me show you what i got!"
Geno starts focusing on the interaction of the two brothers again, Reaper throws his younger brother against the wall. Geno stares in horror, he just now thinks that Papyrus gets dusted.

But to his shock... Reaper breaks down into tears almost immediately after, there is still part of the Reaper they know there... Somewhere deep within.

after Reaper yells at Papyrus to run, the younger prince finnaly flees. Reaper then gets himself together and runs out too, but he just angrily Roars, then he turns around, giving up on following Papyrus.

Reaper gets back to Geno with sharp breath.
He hugs the smaller skeleton from the side.
"My little white Raven~ such a cutie... I miss your annoyed looks, you know?... Would you be pround of me? For getting ready to avange you... To avange everybody who the kingdom had hurt."

Geno stares at Reaper, the he chuckles.
"We both know I'm not proud of you! You need to stop this... And im not Dead. Not yet. And until i am, i will fight."

But Reaper decided to ignore the clear words coming from the cristal.

(Reaper is the only one who properly understands everything Geno says inside the cristal.)

Reaper takes the cristal smiling wildly, putting it to his cheek
"Idiot! You decided to make yourself belive im dead huh? Is it better this way??... Please just stop being so blind! And open up your eyes!"

But Reaper ignores it once again. Only completing his words.
"I hope you would be~"

Reaper places the Cristal back to Genos numb hands.
Geno feels so angry. He knows Reaper decited to play dumb... Is he really that blind?...

"Please... If you hear me... I still care about you... I know you dont want this. This is just not... Well you."

Reaper is silent. He then looks at the Cristal again, tears flowing down his cheeks. But he smiles wildly again, he holds himself together wery well.
"Im so, so sorry Geno..."

Said Reaper and wipes the tears before leaving shacking. Two emotions fighting for control.

Geno stares at the leaving Prince... This is so bad. He just... He just wishes to die.
