They arrived at the condo. The parking lot was empty. Joong rested his head on the seat and looked at Dunk, who seemed to be asleep. He couldn't help but smile, a warm feeling spreading through him. "What if I really like you, bro?" he whispered softly.
Dunk's heart raced, but he kept his eyes closed, pretending to be asleep. He had been awake for a while now but didn't dare to open his eyes. "What does he mean?! Does he actually mean it that way?" Dunk's mind was spinning.
He felt a gentle touch on his cheek. "Wake up, we're here," Joong said softly.
Dunk pretended to wake up, slowly opening his eyes and rubbing his face.
As they stepped into the condo and began taking off their shoes, they found themselves close, their eyes meeting once more. There was an unmistakable tension between them.
"Let's wash up first so we can relax after dinner," Joong suggested casually, but his words made Dunk's nerves flare up again.
"You go ahead and shower. I'll use the other bathroom with the bathtub. Then I'll make us something to eat," Joong continued.
"Sure, okay," Dunk replied. "Can you give me some underwear and something comfy to change into?"
"Help yourself," Joong said, heading to the bedroom. "There's new underwear in the drawer and clean clothes in the closet. There are also new toothbrushes under the sink."
Dunk hesitated to follow and instead went to drink some water, waiting for Joong to finish in the bedroom and head to the bathroom.
"That was kind of cold," Dunk thought, feeling confused. Joong's quiet confession in the car didn't seem to match his distant tone now.
Dunk closed his eyes as the warm water cascaded over him. He touched the spot on his neck where Joong had kissed him and let out a quiet moan. "It's a shame we won't have scenes like that anymore... Why does that even bother me? I'm so messed up... I want more..."
By the time Dunk emerged from the bathroom, Joong had already finished showering and was in the kitchen, seasoning some steaks.
Dunk entered the kitchen, his hair still damp. Joong glanced at him before disappearing briefly, returning with a dry towel. He walked over to Dunk, who was standing by the kitchen island, and gently pushed him back so he was leaning against it.
Dunk stared at Joong, not questioning his actions. Joong draped the towel over Dunk's head and began drying his hair with gentle movements.
"The air conditioning is on. You could catch a cold," Joong's voice was soft again.
The towel covered Dunk's eyes. He remained silent, letting Joong continue. Joong's hands froze as he looked at Dunk's slightly parted lips. He couldn't think clearly; all he wanted was to feel Dunk's lips against his again. This time, for real—no script, no cameras.
Dunk couldn't see Joong's eyes, but he saw the bottom half of his face move closer. He felt Joong's breath, his own heartbeat pounding in his ears. He inhaled sharply as Joong's lips brushed ever so lightly against his, barely touching. Joong then pulled back and slowly lifted the towel, revealing Dunk's eyes. Joong stared into them, silently asking for permission to continue. His hands rested on the kitchen island beside Dunk's hips, his legs between Dunk's.
Instead of speaking, Dunk grabbed a handful of Joong's T-shirt and tugged gently, keeping his gaze locked on Joong's. He saw the fire ignite in Joong's eyes, but Joong didn't move, he was waiting for Dunk to make the first move.
